I thought I had successfully signed up for Verizon cell phone service yesterday, order *****. Given a monthly price AND told everything is in order, issued via email an Order Confirmation and told I could take that number to my local Verizon store here in Roseburg Oregon and they will install the sim cards as required and get my wife and my phones on line. DIDN"T HAPPEN!!!!!!*The store which google says is the nearest Verizon store to my zip code is not even a Verizon store yet it has Verizon outdoor signage and indoor signage proclaiming it to be "Verizon." Those people called your support people in an attempt to do "the right thing." We sat and sat, they were put on lengthy hold after hold and then finally the person waiting on us comes around the counter and tells me my credit was refused and would I like to go with a prepaid plan.*My credit score has never been below the ***'s for years and years. This morning I get an email from your Fraud Prevention Team asking if I am who I say I am. It also says * devices.*Your company is like all others in that you only have one chance to make a good first impression. You have failed miserably. I just called and was put on a lengthy hold and advised your agents were helping other customers. Then I hear * beeps and you disconnected the call. That finished my desire to be a Verizon customer. Please, by return email issue me a cancellation notice for order number *****.
