Have repeatedly tried to contact you by phone and cannot get past automated service. I received a call about * hour ago from someone claiming to be from Verizon who wanted to let me know my Verizon Prepaid Service was being terminated for non-payment. I first questioned him as to why he was showing up on my caller ID as 'restricted' and he said he was calling from North Carolina and the system was still 'messed up' from the hurricane. Told him I wasn't buying it and he passed me on to his 'supervisor', Carolyn Miller. She stated also that my bill had not been paid and wanted the security code for my phone. Gave it to her, but also told her I was looking at the bank statement that indicated my payment is up-to-date. She asked me to hold for a minute but never returned. I immediately called and changed the security code for my phone. Is there anything else I can do, and can this contact with you be documented so if any extra charges are placed on my phone I will have proof that I called you?
