I'm having trouble accessing my Steam account. My daughter really wants a game that is only available on Steam. Despite changing my password multiple times, I still can't log in. I've tried being patient, but now I'm frustrated. I keep getting an incorrect password message, even though I saved it and usually log in automatically. I was banned from Overwatch on February 8, [redacted]. I feel this ban was unjust because I am unsure of the reason behind it. I upgraded to a premium account to avoid facing cheaters and have invested money in the game. I am innocent and troubled by encountering cheaters in every match. This drives other players away from the game. It seems unfair that while some players blatantly cheat and go unpunished, I have been banned without cause. I kindly request the prompt removal of my ban to demonstrate my innocence. I trust that by addressing these issues, the Overwatch experience can be greatly improved. I sincerely hope my ban will be lifted, and unfair bans will not occur in the future.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with Valve and Steam. My Steam ID is [redacted][redacted]. I have reached out to Steam and Valve regarding my lowered trust factor, but I have yet to receive any assistance. Despite investing in skins and extras for my games, my trust factor has been compromised due to encounters with hackers when playing solo. I've been unable to access my Steam account for almost two months, so Train SIM is currently inaccessible. A black screen with white text keeps asking for my account/email and password, even though they are correct. Despite numerous password resets and contacting Steam and Dovetail Games without success, I continue to face this issue. I haven't needed to sign in for the past 5 to 6 years. I've submitted multiple support tickets, but I'm not receiving adequate help. My grandchildren suggest removing or disabling the black login prompt or allowing me to verify my identity after resetting. The green "verifying installation/updating" message still appears. Please address this problem promptly. Thank you.

My account was mistakenly flagged for unauthorized purchases by a Discord user, prompting me to contact an admin named Carol on Discord at [- @Steam Developer (Carol)#[redacted] -]. They instructed me to send large amounts of bitcoin to verify my account, claiming it was necessary to prevent suspension. The escalating requests for money have become unmanageable, especially as I am currently unemployed. I suspect this may be a scam, as the individual has not refunded the large sums I sent or provided clear verification of being a Steam staff member. The location discrepancies and insistence on large bitcoin transfers have raised red flags. I have requested a refund of the money sent, but so far, no funds have been returned to my account or PayPal. I fear I may have fallen victim to a scam. I have been collaborating with Valve employee James Weemahn, who has requested €[redacted] gift cards to obtain a code necessary for account unbanning. I seek clarification on James Weehman's legitimacy, as the codes I provided did not suffice for unbanning. Desperate to restore my account, I assure you that despite any past miscommunications, I have abided by community guidelines. I urge Steam to consider my loyalty as an 8-year user with no VAC bans. My son Julian, who has Autism, had his account blocked by someone named Mayor Carol. They demanded increasing amounts of money in the form of Valve gift cards and vouchers, causing Julian distress as he risked losing years of progress on his Steam account. After giving them money, Julian finally confided in me, and I was outraged by the situation. It's crucial for Valve and Steam to address these issues promptly and ensure the safety of their users. I have a complaint about the steam support's inefficiency and lack of concern for my issue. My AWP Dragon Lore, account, and Steam mobile authenticator backup code were stolen, but despite submitting four tickets, starting from 5/5, I have received no satisfactory response. The hackers even threatened to steal my AWP Dragon Lore and get my account banned, which led to significant monetary losses. I'm reaching out for urgent help as the situation is out of my control. I understand that Steam receives numerous messages but the lack of cooperation and responses have left me feeling helpless. I have also involved the police in China, but due to the nature of online items, I have no recourse other than Steam. I have been trying to reach out to Steam Support for assistance, but it seems like my requests are being ignored intentionally. The phone number provided, [redacted], is not helpful as no one ever returns my calls. When I try to email support at [redacted], I receive an error message stating that the email could not be delivered. Additionally, contacting Steam Support online has not yielded any response. I have requested a Steam Guard code multiple times, but I never receive the code in return. I previously reached out through gethuman for help. My request is for Valve support to contact me directly via email without the need for a Steam Guard code.

Hi, unfortunately my account got banned due to a mistake made by a friend. I am currently in contact with SalapatiiSupport, who claims to be a Valve Employee. We have been corresponding since 4 a.m. last night, as he is located in Singapore. He has asked me to purchase a $50 Steam gift card for the Item Buying Process Data, which will be refunded, and then requested $[redacted] and later $[redacted] for additional processes to verify my account. He mentioned a potential refund of $[redacted], but in order to proceed, I need to load $[redacted] onto a card to pay the database using Steam gift cards. I am unsure if this person is legitimate or a scam. I cannot access my Steam account until Thursday at 4 a.m. due to this issue.

Recently, his account was compromised, and his valuable in-game item, shadow daggers damascus, worth [redacted] EU, was stolen. My Steam account was recently compromised, and I've been attempting to reach out to Valve about it for almost a week now. It seems like the associated email and password were changed by an unauthorized party after I mistakenly entered my login details on a site offering 3 months of Discord Nitro through Steam. I suspect it was due to a keylogger. As a result, I have lost access to my account as the login credentials were altered. I can provide evidence that I was the previous owner of the account named buchanan1242, including purchase records made with a Mastercard. I was reached out to by a player named Fixed_Clhobow who claimed to have been scammed using my ID. He mentioned reporting me and said I needed to contact Janobi right away to prevent my account from being permanently deleted. He stated he blocked the scammer, so I'm confused how he contacted me. I followed his instructions and messaged Janobi on Discord. Janobi claimed to work for Steam and accused me of involvement in scamming activities. He demanded a $[redacted] Steam gift card to clear my account of alleged violations, provided "evidence", and directed me to purchase it online. My credit card company flagged it as fraudulent, blocking the transactions multiple times. After managing to purchase a card myself, Janobi insisted on more money, $[redacted], with further requests for an additional $[redacted] to pay a programmer. Despite explanations of being ill at the time and seeking Mr. Underwood's help, stress and confusion prevail. Janobi pressures for more money today under threat of deleting my account. I am disabled and games are essential for me. Why didn't the player contact Steam directly? Why was my account not frozen earlier with accumulating violations? Concerns and stress are mounting.

I've been using Steam for several years now. Recently, I've bought multiple games that won't start on my computer. My system has been reliable for playing Steam games, but in the past month, I've had to request refunds for 8 games. One I had another reason for, 1 wasn't enjoyable, 1 was too difficult, and 5 simply won't launch. I received an email about the latest game that wouldn't launch, stating that future refund requests might be denied due to Steam's policy not being meant for testing games. I'm not tech-savvy and don't tinker with my system. Today (9-3-22), I spent 2 1/2 hours on a chat with Rockstar customer support attempting to get RDR2 to work without success. Each time there was inactivity, a new support agent took over, causing delays. I expect to be able to play the games I purchase, and if they don't run, I deserve compensation or proper customer service, not the threat of losing all refund privileges.
