Jarod M Sevilla*DOB *-**-******I lost my job and retroactively applied for Cobra benefits. I paid over two weeks ago and was admitted to the hospital. The hospital is contacting UH and being told that my benefits were terminated as of the last date of employment. In spite of what the hospital is being told, I received a letter fromUH stating that IOP services hade been approved. *k*yxg-** is the approval number. Still, when the hospital calls UH they continue to be told that my benefits were terminated. On the original call I was told it would be ** hours to process payment. The hospital continues to be told my benefits were terminated and so I have called repeatedly and was last told it would be the day after Christmas. It is now two days after Christmas and the hospital was again told today that my benefits were terminated. This is unacceptable and repeated phone calls have not been effective. My next letter will be to the media.
