I work for the Federal Aviation Administration. I was scheduled to travel to Montreal (YUL) on October *, ****, from Washington Dulles (IAD). On October *, ****, my supervisor informed me that I was no longer needed to go on this trip. I went onto the United Airlines website and cancelled my flights. I received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled and the value of my ticket could be applied to future travel with United. This reservation was e-ticketed on September **. But my trip wasn't canceled until October *, of no control of my own. I requested a refund from United via their link on their website. they came back with the same response - that they would not issue a refund but the amount could be applied to future travel. I would like to request (again) a refund, since the trip getting canceled was out of my control. The confirmation * is C*DL**. Please let me know if you need additional details. Thank you.
