My family & I of * total we're booked for a *am departure flight out of avp. I went to print out our tickets and noticed that my ** year old son wasn't on the seating chart. I began to try to assign him to a seat. The system wouldn't allow me. It wanted to up charge me additional money. Keep in mind this flight was books over the phone with an agent. I called the airlines, put on hold for over an hour which resulted in missing our flight to Tampa. We a relocating due to employment. With last week's hurricane this is the forth flight cancellation we have endured and the last flight missed was due to the tickets being over sold. There was a list for stand bys. Why would I be able to book a flight for my family and I if it was over booked and having to miss his flight? This has caused a major inconvenience to my family which has caused an inconvenience to extened family.
