I had placed an order with Uber Eats in Hutchinson, Kansas, and was charged for the order along with the Uber Eats fee. Unfortunately, after waiting for over an hour, the Uber Eats driver cancelled my order. The restaurant had prepared my order and was waiting for the driver, indicating a recurring issue with Uber Eats not picking up orders. I am seeking a full refund to my debit card and an explanation for the cancellation. I have copies of the receipt and the charges on my card. This situation is unacceptable, and I expect resolution promptly.

Hello Ubereats, I had an issue with my order last night from Masala Art Petrie Terrace. Initially, my app glitched, and my first order for butter chicken did not go through, and it disappeared. I reordered and that went through with confirmation, but when the food arrived, I had two meals and was charged twice. I carefully monitored the app after the second order and only saw one. This left me very disappointed as I cannot afford to waste money, and I had to discard the duplicate meal. It was also my third try ordering from this venue due to a previous cancellation caused by the delivery driver's car trouble. I couldn't call immediately since I was on my work dinner break. I would like to inform everyone that I mistakenly placed an order with Gerard Mendis Chocolatier at 2:46 p.m on December 25, [redacted]. Immediately after placing the order, at 2:48 p.m, I contacted Uber EATS via email and also called Gerard Mendis Chocolatier to cancel the order. The staff member who answered the phone confirmed my cancellation request. Despite multiple attempts to reach the phone number [redacted] 7 [redacted] to cancel the order, I was unable to connect with anyone until 3:15 p.m. When I finally spoke to a representative, I was informed that the full amount would still be charged. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with the service provided. I wish to cancel the order and avoid any charges, as I have already successfully cancelled the order with Gerard Mendis Chocolatier directly. I am disappointed in Uber EATS and will not recommend your service to others. I will proceed with necessary legal actions if my account is debited unjustly. Finally, at 3:15 p.m., someone answered and informed me that they intended to charge me the full amount. I was disappointed by this service and will not be recommending Uber EATS to others. I promptly called Gerard Mendis Chocolatier and canceled the order. It is unfair to charge me for an order that was canceled in a timely manner. Hello, I am Regina B., a loyal Uber Eats customer for a long time. Today, I placed two orders with Uber Eats, one for immediate delivery which was instantly cancelled due to an error, and the second one for a scheduled delivery later in the evening. However, when the delivery time arrived, there was no progress on my order. It remained unaccepted well past the scheduled 7-7:30 timeframe. Despite attempts to contact the restaurant, there was no response. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the restaurant was not even open and had not started using Uber Eats yet. I have canceled the order again and even reached out to the restaurant through Facebook for clarity. I am reaching out to ensure that I will not be charged for either order, as it was a mistake on Uber Eats' end, and the food was never delivered. I ordered Subway at 7:51 pm with an estimated delivery time of 8:22 pm. It now shows 8:50 pm, and I suspect my food is ready. I want to cancel and get a refund, but my card shows a hold for $21.38 instead of the $17.81 I spent. It also mentions no refund if I cancel. I am 26 weeks pregnant and frustrated with the delay in finding a driver. Why advertise UberEATS if there are no drivers available? As a driver for the company, I find this situation completely unacceptable and disappointing.

Hello Uber Eats, I recently had a bad experience with your service. On the 24th around 5:00 pm, we ordered a cake valued at approximately [redacted] Rupees. The delivery person did not update the payment information properly, causing us to receive a message requesting payment for the cake despite already paying for it. This issue arose because the delivery person failed to update the payment on the app or hand over the cash. I am writing to report a theft attempt at our condominium, La Gorce Palace in Miami Beach, Florida on December 25th, [redacted] at approximately 7:00 PM. The order number associated with this incident is 455C2, placed at 5:41 PM. The driver, identified as Patrick, arrived on a bicycle instead of a car. Law enforcement was contacted promptly, preventing the theft. However, the driver posed a safety risk to our property and residents. As the Manager of the Condominium Association, I am requesting to be contacted by UberEats to address this issue and discuss how this individual will be handled to prevent future threats. I recently experienced issues with two of my orders. In one instance, the driver delivered the wrong food, and I only realized after rating and tipping them. Despite reporting it through the app, I received no response. In another order, the driver was rude, didn't wait the allotted time, and left. Attempts to reach me seemed inadequate as there was no voicemail left. Additionally, when my colleague approached the driver, they refused to engage and were found on Instagram. Subsequently, my order was canceled without a refund due to the driver's behavior. I messaged through the app but received no response for this issue either. I am requesting refunds for both orders with the associated order numbers #[redacted] and #69CDB.

I accidentally placed an order at 2:09 pm today and immediately cancelled it. Despite cancelling at 2:10 pm, I was charged an $11.65 fee. I called customer support and was informed the restaurant accepted the order, making the fee non-refundable. The website mentions that if the restaurant had begun preparing the order, no refund can be given. I doubt the order was prepared in such a short time. I am requesting a refund of the fee or a credit to my Uber account equivalent to the fee.

I ordered a sub from Subway, but my delivery time kept getting delayed. After waiting for an hour and a half for a food that was only two miles away, I decided to cancel my order. Even though the app constantly showed that a driver was still waiting, my food had been ready for an hour. When I called to cancel, the representative assured me that I wouldn't be charged, but I was left feeling hungry and disappointed. I placed an order around 12:30 and received it at 1 p.m. However, the app didn't update to show a driver was assigned. Around 3 p.m., someone knocked, but I didn't answer. Then, I received a call and a text mentioning my address. It was Uber Eats saying no one was there to receive my order, which I had already received. They canceled the order. Unfortunately, the app did not display the delivery boy's contact number, only text messages were exchanged with him. I did not receive any calls but got a message from the app that my order had arrived. When I went to collect it, the delivery person had left, my order was canceled, and I was still charged. Despite providing the correct office address, they only waited on the street and did not try the office door. The customer service was unhelpful, claiming they couldn't resolve the issue. After two hours of frustrating communication, I lost my money, time, and patience, and ended up hungry. This whole experience has been very disappointing.

Sir, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the chocolate shake order I placed on Uber Eats. The service was incredibly poor as the rider not only showed up late but also refused to deliver my order after making me wait an additional one and a half hours. The rider's rude behavior and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. Despite reaching out to customer service, my complaint was not adequately addressed. The rider even gave my order to someone else and explicitly stated he would not fulfill the delivery, which was disrespectful. I feel compelled to take further action by lodging a formal complaint with the police against both the rider, named Nitish, and the Uber Eats app itself. My name is Rahul K. and I believe this kind of treatment towards a customer is inexcusable.

I recently ordered a sandwich from Jersey Mike's that cost over $30 with extra meat and cheese. However, the sandwich had very few veggies, lacked the extra meat, and the cheese was melted making the roll soggy. My order was also delayed by more than 15 minutes beyond the original estimated time of arrival. This is the second time I've been disappointed with my order. While some of my past orders have been great, this experience is unacceptable considering the amount of money I've spent. I suspect it might be the staff members handling my order inaccurately, as the delivery driver did a good job following procedures. I recently placed an order that was canceled without my knowledge, and I received no refund. I explained that the driver did not contact me or follow the delivery instructions provided. I reordered my food but seek a refund for the canceled order, as the driver did not fulfill their duties and there was no attempt to redeliver the food. I ordered a large Peppy Paneer Pizza from Pizza Century on the 29th of December. The toppings were poorly distributed on the crust, making it messy to eat. I reached out to Uber Eats through the app and sent a photo as proof. Despite their assurance of a response within 24 hours, no one has contacted me yet. Later, I ordered two more pizzas, and they were even worse. One was burnt on the bottom, and the other was missing toppings. I filed another complaint but still haven't heard back after 13 hours. This frustrating experience has led me to seek help through the official website. As a new Uber Eats user, I am greatly disappointed and will caution my friends and family against using this app. I am hoping for a refund due to the poor quality of the food and lack of assistance I've received.

I recently joined Uber Eats about a week ago. Yesterday marked our first order, but I noticed the breakdown did not include a way to tip the delivery person. After reaching out to customer service for assistance, I received three different responses. The latest information I received stated that I must log into the system to see how much we tipped the delivery person. This seems tedious as it requires logging in every time there's a delivery. I find this frustrating and confusing. I wish this information was readily available on the tablet provided by Uber Eats. As of now, our restaurant and others I signed up are staying offline until we clarify this issue. It's been challenging speaking with customer service representatives from different countries who are unable to give me a straightforward answer.
