I placed an order for a Vegetable Manchow Soup on Tuesday, November 20th, [redacted], at 7:50 p.m. The estimated delivery time was set for 8:20 p.m. I received a message from the delivery person stating they had arrived at around 8:05 p.m. However, the delivery person did not show up, despite me waiting with the watchman. Later, I received a message from UberEats mentioning that the delivery was unsuccessful due to being uncontactable, which was incorrect as my phone was with me. They threatened to charge me Rs.[redacted] for this failed delivery. I feel deceived by this situation. I have been a regular customer of UberEats in Thrissur, Kerala, and have had positive experiences until now. I am disappointed and considering not ordering from UberEats in the future unless this issue is resolved.

I need to address an issue with order number 8B84A. The delivery driver was impolite when spoken to and refused to deliver my order, instructing me to contact customer service as he wouldn't comply. I am confused as to why the order was cancelled initially. The driver claimed I missed his call, which is untrue. Additionally, he failed to message me upon arrival. I frequently order from various food delivery apps and this was by far the worst experience I have encountered. To worsen the situation, UberEats declined to refund the pre-paid amount. I suspect the outcome would have been different if the payment was cash on delivery. If this matter remains unresolved, I will have no option but to cease ordering from your platform in the future.

Dear Team, I am writing to address my concerns regarding my recent order and interactions with the customer service representative, Hardeep, and the manager, Simranjeet. My order, #040EB, was for 2 burgers priced at rs. 80 each with fries & a 300ml coke priced at rs. 60. Unfortunately, when I received my order, I only received the 2 burgers. Despite the delivery person's assistance in contacting customer service, Hardeep was unyielding and stated she could only refund me rs. 60, claiming there was no manager available. After a prolonged discussion lasting about 20 minutes and enduring two extended periods on hold, I finally spoke with the manager who repeated the same stance. Additionally, the manager requested I call back from my number, but I was unable to locate the customer service number. Frustrated with the lack of support, I was forced to end the call after more than 30 minutes without a resolution. Due to this experience, I insist on a prompt and full refund for my order. The delivery partner, Tipu, initially refused to provide chutney with the order. After 30 minutes, he marked the order as delivered while claiming to be sick. He suggested contacting a friend for the food instead. When asked why this was necessary, he insisted only on caring about the delivery. Contacting customer care led to an 8-minute wait, and attempts to reach Tipu's contact failed. Despite not seeking a refund, the money was coldly transferred to the Uber account. Upon trying to reorder, the item was sold out, leaving me feeling extremely disappointed.

Last night, I placed an order with BistroSix49 that included champagne chicken, seafood ziti, wings with Hennessy sauce, and a side of original fries with Hennessy sauce. Despite the food arriving on time, both my spouse and I fell ill after consuming it. My spouse has a fish allergy, and I started feeling unwell as well. After experiencing vomiting and itching, I contacted the restaurant, returned the food before closing, and was informed that this situation was uncommon and they speculated it might be due to us trying the dish for the first time. This morning, my spouse reported experiencing chills, headache, lightheadedness, and further vomiting. I am unsure about what occurred, but the food was returned, and I was advised that UberEats would handle the refund process.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Uber Eats. I ordered two items from them – a waffle and a burger. When the waffle arrived, the ice cream was completely melted. As for the burger, it was delayed for 30 minutes and then automatically canceled. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful and wasted 1.5 hours of my time. They claimed I had canceled the order from a number that wasn't mine, and insisted I pay for an order I neither received nor canceled. After being transferred around multiple employees, they offered no compensation and stated they couldn't help. Now, I am unable to order from Uber Eats due to a mistake made by their driver. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and I would not recommend Uber Eats to anyone.

On November 21st, I placed an order (#BA293) at Skyview Restaurant. Upon delivery, I noticed that two items were missing: the Strawberry Waffle and two Egg with Bacon Sandwiches. I contacted Uber Support and had a less than pleasant experience. I was wrongly advised that my account was deactivated, which impacted my ability to reorder, causing a significant delay in feeding my employees as intended. Despite attempts to resolve the issue with various representatives, including Sheila, the matter was not adequately addressed. Repeated account deactivations and inconsistencies in explanations left me feeling dissatisfied with the service provided. I also received an email acknowledging the account error but was still unable to access my account. Due to this frustrating encounter, I plan to seek alternative delivery services for future orders. I expect better communication and resolution efforts, such as a credit or a sincere apology, to make amends for the inconvenience caused.

I recently ordered food from Uber Eats from Mile High Pizza & Grill. Upon receiving my order, I noticed the shrimp was undercooked, the cornmeal was hard, and the fries appeared dry. Furthermore, there was processed fish mixed in. While contacting the restaurant, they directed me to Uber for a refund, stating they couldn't help. This ordeal caused me frustration, especially since I am dealing with this during my work hours. I hope to resolve this $18 issue promptly as I am currently not feeling well after eating the undercooked shrimp.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Ubereats Delivery Incident and Request for Compensation Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to bring to your attention an incident that occurred last night, on the 20th of November, approximately at 10:30 pm in front of Himalaya Hostel on the PEC Campus in Chandigarh. Your delivery person collided with me on his motorcycle as I was cycling back to my hostel, resulting in significant injuries to my hand and knee. Following the accident, he also displayed inappropriate behavior. The delivery person was exceeding the speed limit, leading to the unfortunate collision that also damaged my recently purchased cell phone and bicycle. I kindly request compensation for these damages. Failure to do so may result in me pursuing legal action against Ubereats. Additionally, I urge you to address this matter by taking appropriate actions against the delivery person. Attached are photos of the incident for your reference.

Hello, During my last food order, the delivery took nearly an hour to arrive. When I contacted the delivery person, they were very rude and spoke to me harshly. They insisted I cancel my order, but I requested they deliver it promptly. Despite mentioning my address, pg name, and building name, the delivery person did not come to my door and eventually canceled the order. The delivery person's behavior was extremely unpleasant, and I feel disrespected as a customer. If this is the standard of service, I no longer wish to use Uber Eats. Kindly deactivate my account.

Please locate the time the food was ordered: 8:40 PM IST. I kindly request Uber to furnish me with the following information: -The time when the food was dispatched from Kritunga. -The time the order was cancelled. This information is necessary for me to take legal action against Uber/Kritunga with the Consumer Forum/KSCDRC due to inadequate updates, poor service, and unjust charges for undelivered food. While I used to be a loyal Uber customer, I no longer am. I advise that customers be informed that once they place an order on Uber, they must either wait until delivery, regardless of the delay, or cancel the order and forfeit their money. I had an unsettling experience with an Uber Eats driver who entered my apartment building lobby without buzzing in. Despite my polite request to buzz up, the driver refused and became confrontational when asked to comply with the building's security protocol. Feeling threatened in my own home, I had to call the police as the situation escalated. The driver declined to provide his name or Uber ID, which added to the distress of the incident. I believe that when a building owner requests adherence to security procedures, they should be respected. This incident took place on Thursday, November 22, [redacted], at 6:09 pm in Toronto, specifically at 60 Homewood Avenue. I urge for measures to be taken to prevent this driver from servicing our building again and can supply security footage if needed.

Good afternoon, I am Madeliene Gounden, a student at Wits University. I am experiencing issues with Uber Eats where the cash payment option is not working, unlike regular Uber rides which accept cash. Despite this, my friend orders for me, and I pay him in cash. I am disappointed as KFC has given me the wrong drink twice, serving Stoney instead of Coke, which I do not drink. Today, I ordered a Zinger Box meal for R102.90, specifically asking for a Zinger burger, which was stale and bland. The portion of chips was also unsatisfactory. I previously tried to complain through my friend's app with no response. This poor service is frustrating, especially during exam season. I urge the KFC in Braamfontein to improve their service, or I will not order from them again. Despite this, I am able to use Uber rides by paying cash for my fares. Recently, while ordering from KFC, there have been recurring problems - this time, I received Stoney instead of Coke, which I do not consume. During my latest order of a Zinger Box meal, where I paid R102.90, I specified a Zinger burger but received a stale bun with a bland Colonel burger instead. Moreover, the quantity of chips provided was disappointingly low. When attempting to address these issues through the Uber app, there was no response. Amidst the pressure of exams, receiving such poor service is unacceptable. I urge the KFC branch in Braamfontein to enhance their food quality and accuracy. Hello, My name is Vijayakumar. I accidentally placed two orders instead of one and attempted to contact customer support. After a 20-minute wait, an executive informed me that they could cancel one order (order id:1946c) with a 50Rs cancellation fee to be deducted from the next order. Upon cancellation, the full amount was taken, and subsequent inquiries yielded no promise of a refund. This feels unprofessional. Had I known, I would have at least given the extra food away. It's disheartening not to receive either the food or a refund. Being a loyal ubereats customer, the lack of resolution is disappointing. After 45 minutes with support, we were directed to file a complaint on the website, but finding contact information for further assistance proved challenging. I've had a bad experience with McDonald's in Port Adelaide four times now. My recent order was completely wrong - I had to throw out my burgers and chips but managed to eat the nuggets. When I contacted the manager, they claimed it was an issue with Uber Eats. However, I believe my spending through Uber should not impact the quality of the food. Coming from a hospitality background, I value consistency highly. The quarter pounder I received tasted old, with a hard bun and cold chips. I also got a vanilla coke instead of a regular Coke, which I don't like. Additionally, the stickers on my Uber bag were torn. This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering the prices. I hope someone will address this matter promptly.

Today I placed an order on Ubereats expecting it in 25-35 minutes as indicated, around 11am. Unfortunately, my order did not arrive until 12:20pm. I attempted to cancel the order within 2 minutes of placing it through the app, but it was too late. I contacted customer service to cancel the £[redacted].90 order, but the restaurant refused. They insisted I pay for 3 Ubers to collect the food myself. As a chef, I understand kitchen operations, yet the manager at the restaurant was uncooperative due to the order's value. This resulted in a delay of over an hour to receive the food. The restaurant was dirty, and many guests did not eat the food. This caused major issues at work as I struggled to serve my guests by noon and ended up spending extra money on Ubers to collect the food. Despite reaching out to customer service, I have yet to receive a response. Communication with Ubereats staff has been challenging due to language barriers. I am requesting a refund or reimbursement as I did not receive the expected service from either Ubereats or the restaurant.

I recently placed an order on UberEats for McDonalds, but unfortunately, it was the wrong order. I followed the steps provided in the help section to cancel the order, but there was no cancel button on the receipt. I contacted a representative named Gretchen at UberEats immediately after placing the order, within one minute, while the order was still processing. Gretchen informed me that the order couldn't be cancelled, even though it hadn't been accepted by the restaurant yet. Despite this, my card would still be charged. I find this policy unreasonable as I was unable to correct the mistake before the order was accepted by the restaurant. Despite my efforts, the order was not cancelled by Gretchen and was still delivered. I understand the importance of not being able to cancel once the meal is prepared, but I believe there should have been an option to cancel or correct the order as stated in UberEats' guidelines.

I was disappointed with my first Ubereats experience. Last night, dealing with a migraine, my sister and I decided to order for the first time. She placed the order from her account, but I was paying. After an hour passed, we realized our food wasn’t arriving. We had to call to cancel it. We tried ordering from my phone next, as hers had low battery, but the same issue occurred. The delivery time kept getting delayed, and we couldn't resolve it easily. It took multiple calls before I could finally cancel the order. What started at 7 pm trying to find food to help my migraine ended at 10:30 with me in tears and no food. I just wanted to sleep by then. Even though I was told I could email for compensation, all I really wanted was to share my frustrating experience. It was a painful night, and despite my discomfort, I regret how it all unfolded. Both orders were eventually canceled after a long night.
