My friend and I ordered food from The Ch*teau. The driver arrived at my apartment building and called me on my cell phone (the number associated with my account). I told him to come up to my apartment and reminded him of the number (***). He did not come up, But instead, texted me "I give front desk. Bye !". My building has a concierge, so he left it on the desk. However, when I went down to get the food, the concierge told me that he told the driver to come up to my apartment and not leave the food on the desk. He also told me that the driver put the food on the desk, ignored him, and left. I am not ordering delivery so that the driver can come **% of the way to me and then have me come get the last **% (down to get the food). I also was sure to check off "delivered to apartment" and not close " meet the driver". I was very excited to discover your service because you deliver from a lot of places that grandpa does not. However, if I'm going to continually fight with your drivers to get the food up to my apartment instead of me going down to get the food, I will be forced to use grub hub instead. To remedy this I would like *) a refund of my meal or a gift card of some kind and *) I'd like you to inform your drivers that part of their job is to bring the food all the way up to the apartment and not for me to come down and get it (unless I choose the second option when ordering).
