Today, I booked fares for two family members during heavy snow. The fees charged to my account ended up being higher than the quotes provided. These discrepancies led to multiple changes on my credit card, prompting my bank to place a hold on it. The original quote for the first trip was $[redacted].04, but it was reversed and replaced with a charge of $[redacted].08. For the second trip, the initial quote was $[redacted].38, with an additional attempt to charge $26.21. My bank flagged this as suspicious, resulting in the hold on my card. I am eager to resolve this issue and pay the amounts I was initially quoted for both trips.

I am extremely frustrated with Uber. I had a terrible experience. I bought an $84 gift card, intending to use it for rides to two different locations. After purchasing the card at 7-Eleven and attempting to redeem it, I encountered issues with the code being invalid. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with both Uber and 7-Eleven, I have been getting the runaround. 7-Eleven claims it's Uber's fault, while Uber insists I go back to 7-Eleven for a solution. Neither party seems willing to assist me, and this back-and-forth has been ongoing for nearly a week. Given that 7-Eleven confirmed the card was loaded and authorized, I am seeking an $84 credit from Uber to resolve this matter promptly.

During my recent Uber ride, I mentioned the historical name of an African American neighborhood from the '60s to the driver, which unintentionally upset him. Despite apologizing multiple times for any offense caused, the driver reacted rudely by raising his voice inappropriately. I felt uncomfortable during the ride despite my attempts to resolve the situation amicably. I gave the driver 5 stars out of goodwill, although his behavior warranted fewer stars. After checking my Uber rating, I noticed a significant drop following this particular ride with Charles (NBK5911) on January 17th, where the total cost was $13.69, including additional fees and a wait time charge. I usually tip $3.00 to drivers and would appreciate a refund for the wait time fee I was charged due to the driver not pulling up to my driveway, especially considering my handicap. My previous Uber experiences have been positive, and this incident has left me feeling upset.

I booked an Uber around 4:30 pm on 19/01/[redacted] opposite the Hyatt Hotel in Kolkata on EM Bypass. The scheduled pick-up went wrong as the driver canceled the trip without explanation. After locating the car nearby, I questioned the driver on his off-location arrival. The driver insisted no cancellation occurred and charged the pre-agreed amount. However, upon reaching my destination, I discovered a cancellation charge reflected in the Uber App. Recently, on a similar trip, I was charged a Rs. 20 cancellation fee along with a travel charge totaling Rs. [redacted], but ended up paying Rs. [redacted] upon reaching. Curiously, there's no record of my journey on 19/01/[redacted] in the Uber app, leading to confusion and concern.

I requested one ride, but I was taken to the wrong address and charged incorrectly. I was charged twice, once for the wrong address and then again for the correct address. Another Uber driver called and charged me as well. The final charge for the ride home was accurate. I am on disability and low income, the initial charge was only supposed to be $10. I feel this situation was a mistake and want a refund to my debit card. I did not have the extra $40 to spend today. The second driver labeled me as a no-show, which was not my fault. I had an unpleasant experience with an Uber ride in Fort Lauderdale. My relative, who is 65 years old and I, used the service. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding with the destination that led to the trip being canceled by the driver, LUIS. He reacted inappropriately and left my relative stranded. I tried to rectify the situation but was met with aggression and unprofessional behavior. Not only was my relative distressed, but being left on an unfamiliar road was unsafe and unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was charged for the canceled ride and feel mistreated by the driver. I had a distressing experience with a driver from Uber. He was extremely rude, leading me to cancel the ride and request a different driver. Despite tracking him on the app and being at the correct pickup spot, he accused me of being in the wrong location. To top it off, I was charged for this unpleasant incident. The driver, Sumalia/Sumulia, was confrontational and made me feel unsafe. He argued with me on the phone before even arriving at my location and attempted to drop me off in a dangerous area when I asked to be let out. This behavior was completely unacceptable, and I need to report it to Uber urgently. I want to ensure that no one else, especially women traveling alone, has to go through what I experienced with this driver. This was a frightening and disturbing ordeal that I had never encountered in all my previous Uber rides.

Today, I travelled to King Hussain Medical Hospital in Fuhais using the Uber app for a ride. At 11:47 am, I was contacted by the driver Mahmud with the phone number [redacted], driving a Toyota Corolla with registration number [redacted]. Despite my wait until 12:06 pm when he arrived, Mahmud picked up another passenger, ignoring my presence. Multiple attempts to reach him were unsuccessful. Additionally, I was charged 1.50 JD unjustly. I believe Mahmud's behavior was unprofessional, and I request strict penalties in accordance with Uber's policies. I would like to provide feedback for my driver today, but unfortunately, I cannot find an option to do so on the phone app. My trip was from [redacted] West 23rd Street to [redacted] East 79th Street in Manhattan, with an additional stop at [redacted] Bleecker Street. The driver's name was Wael. He is truly exceptional and stands out as the best Uber driver I've had. Wael was a skilled and composed driver in the busy NYC traffic. Moreover, he went above and beyond to assist me when I had to pick up a friend unexpectedly from the hospital who had additional baggage and was in a wheelchair navigating through slushy snow. Wael patiently waited, provided guidance, and was extremely helpful. I expressed my gratitude with a generous tip, but I truly believe he deserves more recognition. He is a gem. Today, I ordered an Uber for the first time to run some errands, and the driver's name was Pamela. Initially, everything was fine, but things took a turn when I went into the Dollar General store and she left without me. I was left stranded in the cold without warm clothing, and being disabled with recent medical issues, this was highly distressing. I am seeking a refund and believe that Pamela should be held accountable for her behavior. This experience has deeply affected me, especially given my PTSD and anxiety. It has made me hesitant about using Uber in the future.

Earlier today, I received a call from Natwest's fraud team inquiring about six Uber charges. I don't use Uber, so these transactions are fraudulent. My bank has canceled the charges and my debit card. Interestingly, last night at a McDonalds in Malvern, I noticed an Uber driver near me who may have scanned my card for these unauthorized transactions. McDonalds has CCTV footage and I've contacted the police. I want to ensure these transactions (£82.98, £42.19, £31.64, £41.54, £23.49, £3.88) are canceled. It's important to address this issue to prevent further fraud and potential criminal activity involving stolen money. If I don't hear back, I will inform the media to raise awareness about this issue.

About three weeks ago, an unknown individual hacked into my PayPal account and made three unauthorized charges to Uber for rides I did not take. Both PayPal and my bank refunded the money, and I promptly changed my account passwords. This past weekend, I attempted to order Uber Eats online but my credit card, in good standing, was declined without explanation. Even after trying a friend's card, the payment was rejected. Today, I discovered a charge on my checking account for Uber Eats that wasn't mine. Despite reaching out to Uber for assistance and requesting to speak to a supervisor, I received no resolution after a 10-minute hold. Fortunately, my bank will reimburse me for the charge. I want Uber to investigate this issue as I suspect it might involve an Uber employee due to the timing of the fraudulent charge coinciding with my attempted order. I intend to close my Uber account, although I believe further action is necessary to prevent future occurrences.

On 9th February, I tried to book an Uber ride from BK Block 7, Bidhannagar Sector-2 to Kantapukur Kali Temple Bantra, but experienced issues with the cash payment mode on my iPhone 12. Despite trying multiple times and other payment methods, it kept showing errors. I had to use my friend's phone to book the Uber ride. Interestingly, I didn't face any problems booking a return journey through the OLA app on my iPhone 12. This recurring problem during Uber bookings has been frustrating. I'm unsure why this issue persists, and I'm seeking advice on how to resolve it.

I booked an Uber at Midway airport on Wednesday, February 9 around 4 PM CST. Initially, the app displayed 2 available cars, but after a few minutes, it cancelled my request. I resubmitted my request only to find 1 driver available, with a wait time of over 50 minutes. Upon discussing the delay with Earnest, he cancelled my request as I couldn't wait. I wasn't charged for this. The other driver's status later showed as cancelled. I opted for a cab instead and arrived home around 6 PM. Surprisingly, a woman called me around that time looking for me at the airport, even though I had already arranged other transportation. I mentioned the cancellation shown on the app and declined the ride. She assured me she would cancel. My concern is being charged $5.25 for a cancellation that was actually initiated by the driver. I would appreciate it if this charge could be reversed. Thank you.

I have previously completed the requested actions months ago. I have also communicated with Checkr, who mentioned that the delay is on Uber's end. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, I keep receiving generic emails prompting me to repeat the same steps. Contacting your support team has been challenging, and it feels like I cannot reach a resolution. My performance history on Uber Eats reflects my reliability during my year of service. A rectified error on my background check is now causing difficulties in reactivating my account. It has been over six months of unsuccessful attempts to restore my account functionality. Is there a new background check causing this issue? I fail to comprehend why I am encountering obstacles now when there were none previously. I was informed to update my insurance information for reactivation, which I promptly completed, but my account remains inactive. I am having trouble accessing my Uber account as I have lost access to my email linked to the account and forgot my password. Despite my phone number and credit card information remaining the same, I am struggling to get assistance from Uber support. They insist on sending authentication codes to my old email address to reset my password, even though I cannot access it. I simply want to reactivate my account using my new email and need to find a way to communicate with someone at Uber to resolve this issue. It would be helpful if they contacted me through my new email, or even through text, a call, or a chat for real-time assistance. I just need them to update my information to my new email so I can sign in.

On February 20, [redacted], at 1:09 AM, I requested an Uber ride, expecting a fare of $37.50. However, I was shocked to see a surge charge of x4.4, making the total trip cost $[redacted].19. Not only did the driver (JKE3237) take a longer route to earn more money, but they also added an unauthorized tip of $27.47. The driver acknowledged the unusually high fare but proceeded with the trip. I am aware of surge pricing when demand is high, but x4.4 seems excessive. If I had known the actual cost beforehand, I wouldn't have agreed to the ride. It is concerning that the driver was able to tip themselves using my account without permission. I trust Uber will address and resolve this situation promptly.
