I ordered from ubereats last week. The food was more than ** mins late. The driver was rude, I kept trying to call*leave message in app to show them where to go(the just would park for ** mins at a time on a random block) when called they would literally grunt at me then hang up. Finally I went outside called and told them I’m behind them and to turn around. Again I get hung up on and they drive off. Finally I literally had to go chase down the driver on foot to get my food... called support(in app as that’s literally the only way I can find how) and they say “we’re so sorry we will issue a refund”... I messaged yesterday as I never got. Just got a message today saying they “can’t give me one” well why did they say they would? It’s impossible to get ahold of them and the service of both the delivery and of the support is abhorrent. If this is the kind of “support” uber gives I will be switching to other means.
