I recently (********) took a package to the post office to drop off for delivery to the send as a return. Upon realizing a mistake I made (I left medical equipment - custom shoe insoles - inside the boots I was returning) I called Monday (********) to try and stop the package before it left the post office. No help was offered over the phone. I had my mother go on the same day to see if it was there and according to the reps at the Riverside, IL post office, it was picked up at *am that morning and no longer available. For Monday and Tuesday the tracking still said it was available for pick up by the returns agent and still located at that post office. I went Tuesday (********) to check again and was told it wasn't there. Upon checking my tracking details again because it STILL said it was at the post office, it finally updated on ******** that it was picked up by the returns agent. For the * days I tried to intercept the package it was still at the post office and I was lied to twice about it not being there. I could have had this package already and avoided more issues by following its path to try and intercept. I'm extremely upset at how the reps treated me and my issue and the lack of concern, care and help they didn't offer. **Tracking number: **********************
