UPS drivers don't want to waste time with packages requiring signature

Before contacting them, items GetHuman-helgeszw may need:
Tracking number, Destination of shipment, Origin of Shipment, Full name, Billing address, and Email address on account
The issue in GetHuman-helgeszw's own words
Instead of delivering packages requiring signature, driver posted a missed you notice at the door and left without ever ringing the doorbell or knocking.*I called customer service within * minutes. But all they could do was to promise somebody else would call be back within one hour. Nobody ever did. Instead * hours later the status was changed to 'customer wants to pick up himself'.*Next day, no delivery and * more mostly useless calls to UPS. The last one claimed that delivery will be the next day. I wonder whether it will happen, and the driver will actually make an attempt at delivery.
Drivers are put under too much stress.*Customer cannot schedule delivery. They promise facility calls back within an hour, but facility does not call. *Someone could enter into the computer that I don't want re-delivery when I never said that (in fact I always said the opposite)
Customer service should be able to call the driver directly to turn back immediately after he*she missed a delivery.
