My package, tracking *:*Z*W**Y*********** was to be delivered by July **. According to UPS someone changed the delivery destination to the UPS facility in Norwood for customer pickup. I am the sole recipient and I DID NOT REQUEST THIS CHANGE. I cannot get to Norwood I spoke with Amazon (the sender) and with a UPS customer service rep yesterday. I was told that the package would be delivered to my home, and that I would be notified of a new delivery date. I have not been contacted, and the package status still says that I agreed to pick up the package in Norwood. I've called the automated help line twice, and was told that a UPS representative would contact me within the hour. That was hours ago and UPS has not contacted me. The package was sent for delivery to my home by the **th. I plan on leaving the state in a few days, and one of the items is a gift for someone I'll be visiting. I have no idea why the package destination was changed. I need UPS to correct their error, which has already delayed delivery for three days, send the package to my home on an expedited basis, notify me when action is taken, and provide me a date certain for delivery to me.
GetHuman-tomjoaqu did not yet indicate what UPS should do to make this right.
