I recently had to reset my account password, but encountered issues due to losing my phone and forgetting the password. After receiving instructions via email, I attempted to reset it. However, I subsequently received another email stating inability to verify my identity, resulting in the complete locking of my account. As a DJ and Producer conducting business primarily on Twitter, being unable to access my account for this extended period is frustrating. Today, after logging out and trying to log back in, I inputted my information but was unsuccessful as the system kept rejecting it. I am eager for a resolution as I have not received a response yet. This situation has been distressing, and I am hoping for a prompt solution.

Hello, I go by the username megancrow22 on Twitter. Recently, I noticed that my birth date on my account is incorrect. When I tried to correct it, I was prompted to prove I was at least 13 years old when the account was created. Now, at 17, my account has been suspended due to this issue, which is frustrating. Unfortunately, I do not possess an ID at the moment, as my parents are strict about it. This lack of identification makes it challenging to verify my age as required. I've been locked out of my Twitter account for 10 days now. Despite following the onscreen instructions to restore my account, Twitter hasn't provided any updates. Their response to my email reiterated the need to follow the onscreen steps, which I've already done. The message on Twitter states they are working on a technical solution to unlock my account, noting the requirement to be at least 13 years old to use the platform. While I acknowledge I created the account before turning 13, I find the delay frustrating, especially now that I'm almost 16. Waiting any longer is becoming increasingly difficult. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing an issue with my Twitter account being locked due to an age restriction. When I created the account in March [redacted], I was 14 years old as I was born in [redacted]. Today, on August 28, [redacted], I tried to update my birthday in the Twitter bio and was locked out. Even after submitting the necessary form as instructed, I have been unable to regain access. I simply request to have my account reinstated since I was above the age of 13 when the account was originally set up. It is frustrating to be locked out when I followed Twitter's guidelines. I am hopeful that Twitter can address and resolve this issue promptly.

Hello, I am the owner of True Monarch In Home Veterinary Service. Our Twitter account @truemonarchvet has been compromised by a former employee named Traci Vogler. She falsely claims her identity was stolen to gain control of our account. Traci has hacked into our GoDaddy account and changed emails to take over our systems. To stop her, we've secured the account with new login details and two-factor authentication and deactivated it. Traci is now attempting to change the email associated with the account with support's help, and falsely claiming police involvement. We need help in reclaiming our account from her. Case# [redacted]2 is associated with her attempts, as discovered through her company email. We can provide proof that True Monarch Veterinary Service is owned by Mark McManus, not Traci Vogler. Assistance to regain control of our account is greatly appreciated.

A few days ago, around the 25th or 26th, I reached out for help with my Twitter issues. However, for the second time in less than a week, starting late yesterday, I found myself unable to tweet, retweet, comment, or reply. I am unsure of what I might have done wrong or if I am accidentally violating any rules, as I have reviewed them carefully. When prompted to refresh the page, I have attempted to do so, but it has not resolved the problem. I encountered an issue when trying to unlock my account due to my age. I mistakenly selected the wrong guardian option and now I'm stuck in a loop unable to rectify this mistake. Despite being unable to provide a parent or guardian's email, I am continuously prompted for this information whenever I try to log in. I created the account shortly before turning 13 and inadvertently changed my birthdate, leading to this predicament. I acknowledge that content from when I was underage may need to be removed, but I simply want to regain access to my account. I have read the help page, but unfortunately, it did not solve my issue. A few weeks ago, I registered for an account using my email address and was prompted to provide a phone number for verification. Despite multiple attempts, the process always failed due to technical problems, which I suspect might be related to my location in Indonesia. To work around this, I created a new account using a phone number, which successfully passed verification via SMS. However, I am now facing difficulty using the original username, @alfenstory, that was previously taken by the first account I set up with an email. I have tried to deactivate or change the username on the initial account, but I keep encountering challenges with the phone verification step, which has become frustrating. As a result, my account is currently suspended due to this ongoing issue. I reached out to Twitter support with an appeal explaining my situation, and once my account was unsuspended, I realized I was still stuck with the same phone verification problem. After my account got suspended again, I repeated the process but have not received a response for four days. It would be greatly appreciated if there is a way to bypass the verification system or delete the @alfenstory account to enable me to use the username for professional purposes. On my birthday, August 29, I decided to input my actual birth date to enjoy the birthday confetti feature, not realizing it would result in me losing access to my account. The account was created when I was under 13, and after not using it for some time, I recently returned to find myself now 16. Despite mistakenly indicating that I entered the wrong birthdate, it was indeed accurate; it's just from when I was younger. This account holds sentimental value as it contains my favorite and most humorous tweets, as well as connections to friends and beloved celebrities. My account was suspended for 12 hours because I used inappropriate language. Despite deleting the tweets, the other person who also used offensive language hasn't faced any consequences. It seems unfair that only my account was locked. I come from a family with important roles, and I question the fairness of Twitter's policies. I expect equal treatment for all users, and I want the other person to remove their offensive tweets as I was asked to do.

My account was suspended because of age discrepancies. When I first joined Twitter, I was under 13, but now I am nearly 16 years old. I submitted the required form with a picture of my passport to confirm my age, but Twitter has not provided any assistance. It has been almost 6 months, and my account remains suspended. Will my Twitter account be reinstated? I have not been given any information on the timeframe for unlocking my account. Hi Twitter Support, I have been unable to access my account for over two weeks after updating my birthday. Despite following the prompts, I was directed to a page saying my account would be locked. I provided the necessary information, including clarifying that I was over 13 when I created the account, but was informed that my tweets before age 13 would be deleted upon unlocking the account. Concerns have been raised online about lengthy delays in resolving similar issues. Despite submitting my mother's and my IDs to Help Support five to six days ago, I have yet to receive a response. The Twitter report feature suggests logging in to address the issue, but as my account is locked, I cannot proceed. Losing access to my account is distressing as it contains years of personal tweets. My account was suspended after I made a post expressing my thoughts about a sensitive topic. I did not make any threats or incite violence, but I was suspended for violating Twitter's abuse rule. I believe my account should be reinstated, especially since I have observed other accounts engaging in similar behavior without consequences. I have evidence in the form of screenshots of these accounts violating the rules while remaining active.

It's evident that Twitter needs to revamp its business model for sustainability. All individuals should have the right to free expression, with exceptions for violence or inappropriate content. A glaring issue arises when users are suspended or locked out of their accounts as Twitter's verification process heavily relies on users having a cell phone for SMS confirmation, which is not feasible for everyone. Even users with verified numbers sometimes do not receive the confirmation text as promised. In my case, attempting to update my outdated phone number results in an "Invalid Number" error. This continuous lockout issue, labeled as accidental spamming, has occurred to me four times now, causing significant inconvenience. An attorney named Noah P. from DC, found through an online search, may assist those affected. He hinted at potentially forming a class-action suit against Twitter for these recurring problems. I will also raise concerns with Twitter investors regarding their unjust treatment of users. Hopefully, this information sheds light on the challenges many face with Twitter's current system.
