Dear Twitter, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding my friend's account in the Middle East. Recently, his account was suspended merely because he shared his experience as an ex-Muslim from a secular perspective. For many users, Twitter is not just a platform; it's a sanctuary where they can express themselves freely without fearing for their safety. I understand that the world is far from perfect, and politics often play a role. However, I had higher expectations from Twitter's policies. My friend deserves the opportunity to speak with a real person regarding his situation instead of receiving automated responses to his emails. By deleting his account, you took away more than just a profile. You erased his safe space, years of personal growth and struggle, his heartfelt thoughts and words, his primary means of communication with friends, and a significant part of his life. It would mean a lot if you could provide him with the chance to discuss this matter with a human representative. Best regards

I am a 20-year-old woman who has used my Twitter account for over seven years. Recently, I was locked out due to suspicious activity, which has happened before despite not posting any negative content. Frustratingly, when asked to confirm my birthday (09/09/97), Twitter claimed I was under 13. I am genuinely distressed by this issue and need help regaining access to my account. I have submitted a photo for verification but am uncomfortable with this level of information sharing. I urge Twitter to reconsider and allow me back into my account as I value using it and view this lockout as unjust.

I am a 20-year-old woman who has had a Twitter account for over seven years. I am upset that Twitter has locked me out of my own account. When asked to enter my birthday, it claimed I had to be 13 years old. After providing my photo ID when requested, although Twitter assured me it was confidential, I still felt uneasy. This isn't the first time Twitter has flagged my account for inappropriate content, even though I follow dog blogs, celebrities, and friends. I verified I'm not a robot and regained access, but now I face this issue. I feel disappointed and frustrated with Twitter's actions, especially after requesting sensitive information. I've tried all ways to regain access, even calling Twitter. It's unfair treatment, and I hope Twitter can assist me in logging back into my account for me to enjoy tweeting again.

My Twitter account @deadcon8 has been temporarily restricted since Monday, May 28, [redacted]. I have always followed Twitter's rules and policies. Although I can still access my profile with my username, it is asking for my phone number to receive a verification code, which I no longer have due to changing my mobile number. My password, username, and email remain the same. I hope Twitter can resolve this issue soon. Thank you!

Hello, I am the Twitter user @_monsterstyles. Due to the new Twitter policies, I was required to provide parental consent to confirm that my mother permits me to have a Twitter account. I followed the procedure and submitted a picture of my ID, my mother's ID, and the householder register since we have different last names and I am French. Despite providing them with parental consent, I received an email stating that I did not meet the age requirement and that my account, which I have had since [redacted], would be permanently deleted. This is confusing as I am 17 years old, almost 18, which is the legal age in France. I would appreciate any assistance in recovering my account as soon as possible. Some time ago, Twitter suspended my project's official account @akhbarmeter. The project fact-checks digital news in Egypt and ranks media outlets. It's a non-profit organization. Twitter suspended the account, claiming it had violated their rules. Despite our attempts to seek clarification, we were not provided with specific details about the alleged violation. I have repeatedly requested the unsuspension of the account, but the response remains the same: the account was suspended for violating the rules, and they will not consider any future complaints. This situation has left my project in a difficult position as Twitter plays a significant role for us, particularly in debunking rumors and fact-checking news.

I recently managed to input my birth date after waiting a while for the app to allow me to do so. I even entered the year [redacted]. However, when I did this, my account got locked because it stated I was under 13, but I am 16 years old. Twitter is crucial for me to connect with clients for my art commissions. I have noticed a consistent drop in my follower count daily. This pattern of gaining followers during the day and losing them at night seems unprofessional and concerning. I believe I am unfairly targeted due to my Conservative views. To document this, I am taking screenshots daily. Additionally, it seems like I may be shadowbanned because my engagement has significantly decreased. I seek assistance to address this issue and restore my account's performance. I have been a target of online trolls and harassment for some time now. Despite reporting the abuse to Twitter multiple times, the trolls have been exploiting the mass reporting system. On Monday, I received death threats and attempted to report the abusive messages. However, Twitter suspended MY account instead of the troll who deleted their messages and reported my responses as abusive, which I believe did not violate the terms of service. I am unable to obtain the URLs to report the troll for abuse since I am suspended and they deleted their messages. I have saved screenshots of the incidents, and my followers are trying to contact Twitter support, Jack, and Twitter Safety to bring attention to the screenshots since I cannot send them directly through the reporting channels. I have appealed the suspension but have not received a response yet, and it is now Thursday. The troll had a new account with only 15 followers, while I have been on Twitter since [redacted] and have almost 10,[redacted] followers. This situation has left me extremely upset.

I've had my Twitter account since I was 14 years old back in [redacted] and now I'm 20. Recently, Twitter suggested I add my birthday to my profile. Hello, I recently attempted to input my birth date, February 7th, [redacted], on my Twitter account @RaianShinogu. However, I received an email stating that to create a Twitter account, I must be at least 13 years old. Twitter mentioned that I did not meet the age requirements, resulting in my account being locked and suspended. I submitted my driver's license to authenticate my identity, but unfortunately, I received an email requesting a valid government-issued ID with my full name and photo to proceed. After sending my IC, I was informed that my age still could not be confirmed, and my account would remain locked. I am indeed 20 years old, meeting the age requirements. To whom it may concern, I recently received a generic response informing me that my Twitter account has been suspended due to multiple or repeat violations of Twitter rules, but I was not provided with any specific details about the alleged violations. I have never been notified of any violations in the past and would like clarification on what terms or agreements I have supposedly violated. Despite unintentionally being part of spam groups that led to my account being mistakenly suspended before, I have not received any notifications regarding terms of service or repeated violations. I have an account under the handle @LiamSimmo_. I recently updated my date of birth to [redacted] but my account got locked immediately for being under the age limit. Twitter requested parental consent forms to continue using it. I provided my birth certificate, baptism certificate, and my mother’s passport for identification, but they claimed it wasn't sufficient. I am frustrated as it is evident that she is my mother. I seek direct communication from Twitter to clarify exactly what evidence they require to regain access to my account with 1.4k followers.

I have had my Twitter account since I was 12, and now I am soon to be 17. Last night, Twitter suggested I add my birthday to my profile. After adding my birthday, I tried to adjust my privacy settings but was locked out with a message saying I must be at least 13 to have an account. Hello! Unexpectedly, my account was temporarily blocked without any specific reasons provided. I completed a captcha verification to prove I am human, and after it showed as successful, I received an error message mentioning "technical difficulties," leading to my account being locked. Despite changing my password multiple times and adding an email, the issue persisted. Support's response was generic, advising me to change the password, which I had already done. After replying to their email, my tweeting ability was restored, but I lost all my followers and followed accounts. Trying to follow new people results in the action being undone shortly after. I am seeking assistance to enable my account to follow users again or potentially restore my original follow list, as I cannot recall everyone I was previously following. Rebuilding the list is inconvenient, especially compared to the frustration of not being able to follow new accounts. A week ago, I received a notification stating my account was possibly compromised. I tried verifying my phone number for a code, but it never arrived. After restarting the app, I didn’t get another chance to confirm my identity. Since then, my timeline has stopped updating, I can't tweet, and my followers count shows 0. Despite resetting my password multiple times as instructed by Twitter support, my account remains locked. I have emailed them several times without any response. I urge Twitter support to resolve this issue promptly and reinstate my account to normal. Thank you.

My username is @missjules5x, and my account was suspended while I was dealing with violent racist threats from another user. Lately, I've faced numerous threats and abusive behavior from trolls on Twitter. However, Twitter has taken action against me instead of the trolls, especially when the trolls delete their tweets and accuse me of harassment. My account suspension occurred while I was trying to document the abuse by taking screenshots. When I attempted to report the comments, I found that my account was locked, preventing me from completing any actions. When I tried to report the incidents, I was asked for URLs of the tweets, which I couldn't provide as they had already been deleted, and I was unable to access my account. Despite filing appeals since Monday, I have only received a generic response stating that I need to wait. I am eager to regain access to my account and seek assistance in resolving this issue.

Five days ago, upon opening my Twitter app, I was prompted to verify my identity by entering my password. Upon doing so, I received an error message stating that the credentials did not match their records. Despite numerous attempts with different passwords, I continued to face the same issue. I tried to reset my password via email to no avail. Every time I requested a password reset, I did not receive any emails from Twitter. Both on mobile and web, I encountered an error page with a sad robot image whenever I tried to reset my password. Despite three help/complaint requests submitted over five days, I have not received any response other than an automated email suggesting to reset my password. My friends also tweeted about my issue with no response. To my surprise, a recent search via Google indicates that my Twitter account does not exist. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter.
