It is my first time filing federal taxes so the software will not let me E-file them. I have to paper file them. I also want to file my state taxes with E-file, but it seems that you HAVE to do federal and state together so it also will not let me do state over Email. I was going to just print out the papers for the state taxes and paper file those too, but I'm not sure which papers to mail since the only instructions I'm given on the paper are "Do not mail a paper copy of your tax return. Since you filed electronically, the Indiana Department of Revenue already has your return."
