We got an IRS letter stating that our **** return was rejected. When we logged into our turbo tax on-line account the status of our **** return was rejected In October of ****. We didn't receive an email that it was rejected, and assumed it was processed. I searched back through all my emails and found nothing in October about the return being rejected. I have turbo tax emails from **** thru **** but nothing that says the return was rejected. So I don't know how to find out why it was rejected on Turbo Tax. *The IRS letter states that the birthday doesn't match. The only place we put a birthday is when we electronically file (we've used TT since **** so we don't renter each year in the interview). I can't find on turbo tax how to see what birthday was used to see if I entered it wrong. The instructions to fix a reject don't address what to do when you don't get the notice. Thank you for any assistance.
