I placed a store order for an item and it was cancelled a half an hour later even though it said it was an available item at the store. I reordered the item to be shipped with order ************** and there is a ** dollar gift card that was to be sent when the order shipped. I received an email stating the gift card was cancelled and I had to resubmit my mobile number. When I went to do so online it wouldn’t do it as a promotion and I was prompted to pay for it. I called customer service and was told that they would attempt to resend the gift card when the item delivered in a week. I asked if they could just send it to my email given the terms said when the item shipped and was told no that they would just try again when it’s delivered. There was no confirmation that I would be receiving the gift card even out of the time frame it was supposed to be just that they’d try it later when it was delivered. I’ve participated in multiple gift card offers through target and didn’t except such a difficult situation.
