On Tuesday December **, **** prior to *:** A.M. , I placed an order with Target ( order ************* ) the order contained * items , and stated that it would arrive via * day free shipping.According to the shipping chart detailing * day shipping displayed on the Target website if the order was placed on Tuesday prior to***:** P.M. the order would be received by Thursday.My order was got some reason scheduled to be delivered today Friday December ** , **** by the end of the day.Before *:** P.M when I checked the tracking information from Fedex for some unknown reason the delivery date was changed to delivery date unknown.In addition one of the items Concord Grape Jam was listed as being delivered on Friday than moved to Monday December **, ****. In the area that I live the roads get very bad and package and parcel delivery services like UPS and Fedex may not deliver items for days sometimes weeks because of bad conditions in winter.We May receive a severe winter storm Saturday night extending into Monday due to the delivery delay of my order and the possible inclement weather my packages may be returned to Target because the shipper Fedex will only hold * delay my order for a limited time because it cannot be delivered due to bad road conditions.This is very frustrating and a waste of time and money.I placed an order with Walmart close to the same time that I placed my order with target on the same day I received all but one of the items that I ordered on Thursday December ** , at *:** P.M. * days after it was placed complying with Walmart’s * day shipping policy. I am very dissappointed with my Target online order experience , I had planned on placing future ,and larger online orders with target.I have ordered from Walmart many times large orders and the majority of items were received in * days.It will be a week on Tuesday since I placed my order and I have not received a single item.This was my first target online order.In the event Fedex attempts a delivery on Monday it will be * days for delivery not * days.I just do not understand the lengthy delay for shipping , why delivery took so long and why delivery was changed at the last minute.It is a huge inconvenience and it contradicts Targets * day shipping offer.**Thank you for your time,*Sincerely , *Virgil Blankenship
