Dear ladies and gentlemen! **There is no sound when getting SMS or WhatsApp messages - with one exception: If the chat receiving the message is open (yes, the very chat must be open, not only the app or the app and another chat), then any incoming message comes with sound. **I went into the general menu and into the menus of "messages" and of "WhatsApp". All message sounds are turned on. **The problem wasn't there when I bought the phone one month ago. There were two events which might be the reason: **) There was a system update.**) Lots of apps sent there messages with sound. I touched one of those messages (not WhatsApp or SMS) for a few seconds and could then turn off the sound - of the app which received the message, I expected, but it may have affected all apps. **Both events happened almost at the same time such that I cannot say whether the silence is since the first or since the second event. **I would appreciate any idea in which submenus this is adjustable. **My phone is a TCL T***H. **Yours sincerely, *Bernhard Gittenberger
