I am trying to activate our * accounts. I keep getting a message that some of our information is wrong. Both of our phones now have the Spectrum chip, so we have no way to talk with anyone by phone. We need to activate tonight because tomorrow starts a new billing cycle with Verizon and we don't want to have to pay that.

How GetHuman5053000 fixed the problem
I contacted Spectrum by phone because I couldn't get the activation to go through. The voicemail message before a live person came on the line gave me info about needing a transfer number from Verizon (and how to get it). I hadn't seen this in any of the Spectrum instructions ...or in paperwork I picked up at a Verizon store earlier that day, or in talking with a loyalty rep from Verizon on the phone an hour or so earlier. That information was the turning point, helping me to resolve my issue. I had to contact Verizon for a Transfer code to bring our phone numbers with us to our new Spectrum Account.
