I was trying to change my password but it was too late by the time I did so. ... I was hacked by an unknown device in a different location and immediately, the number associated with my account was changed and an authentication code was enabled. I am not able to retrieve the code because I did not make it, the hacker did. The person who hacked my account blackmailed me and has yet to give me the information for me to log back into my account. This person has hacked multiple people in my area. I am willing to do anything to verify that it is me. I also have emails that snapchat sent me regarding my account’s password change and authentication code being enabled right after someone logged into my account. I understand that I have sent multiple emails at this point but my snapchat account is very important to me. All I need is the recovery code emailed to me, and not sent by number because my number was changed. Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible by sending my recovery code to my email so I can log in, disable Two-Factor Authentication and make my own version of it.
I was not the one who made the authentication and recovery code, someone who hacked my account did. When it was turned on, I did not receive an email asking if I would like to turn it on. It just told me that it was turned on, and there was no option asking if it was me or if my account was possibly compromised. Someone from an unknown location logged into my account, changed my password and number associated with account, and in about ** minutes or so, turned on Two Factor Authentication.
This issue can be resolved by:*-Emailing me the recovery code*-Confirming it is me by asking a few questions *-Requesting a photo
I have been a customer of Snapchat for around * years. I joined Snapchat with this account in May ****. I go on Snapchat everyday to share photos with my friends and post on my stories. I have saved thousands of memories and I have *** streaks. My snapchat score is ***,*** and goes up at least *,*** every single day. I have shown my loyalty to Snapchat by doing my everyday snapchat routine for the past * years.
I have tried to get in contact with snapchat multiple times but nothing else seems to be working.
