A couple of weeks ago, I was at a pool and someone knocked my phone into the water (not me, there was nothing I could have done to prevent this). Like any normal person I wasn’t able to instantly drive to the store and buy a new phone, I had to wait a few days. I didn’t have access to Snapchat during this few days, but I certainly would have continued my streak if I did have access to it (the streak was over *** days, I was clearly interested in continuing it). As soon as I got my new phone I continued where I left off and my friend and I already have a * day streak again. Clearly we love using Snapchat to keep up a streak, so why am I being punished for a stranger breaking my phone? Snapchat told me they were unable to restore my streak, but a friend of mine recently had his streak restored under very similar circumstances. I feel I’ve been treated unfairly, I simply want my streak back so I can continue snapping my friend.
