The issue in GetHuman-samiraf's own words
I've been very disappointed with Shaw on a number of issues, each of which I compromised on! All have been on the part of wrong information and or inefficient service!**I cancelled my Shaw account when I gave up my apartment on Nov **th. Equipment was returned on *th Dec **** and a credit of $*.** was to be posted to my account. Yet I receive a bill for :**Posted Transactions Opens help window for more information about Posted Transactions*Download Transactions**(sorted descending) DATE*DESCRIPTION *DEBIT*CREDIT *Jan **, *****SHAW CABLESYSTEMS CALGARY AB **$***.***Amazing that a company can miscommunicate to clients that I cannot disconnect a service contract by paying a $** penalty*month. Instead, I was told : the contract is binding. I left the country Oct *th **** and returned March **th ****. I wanted to cancel Shaw and was happy to pay the $*** for breaking the contract * months earlier. I was told I cant and hence paid $**** for the six months I was away.**When I returned and questioned my billing, Shaw was too busy to get back to my several conversations with supervisors! After waiting for many many hours on each call, and finally receiving a response from the customer care service WEEKS LATER offering me half the money back. I was so exhausted by that stage, that I agreed and closed out the issue.**FYI: I informed all the supervisors that I could send them a copy of my exit and entry to Canada, and that I had cancelled Virgin Mobile (a $** odd bill for * months) Why on Gods good earth would I not have deactivated Shaw for a savings of $****!!**After this billing its very obvious these actions are deliberate. How can I be billed for an account that no longer exists?*If this is an error, and the $**** was an error, Shaw should pay for their errors! Not customers. If SHAW can't run an efficient service, then SHAW should pay for it. **I don't intend to use Shaw again. Kindly credit my VISA on file for $***.** taken unjustifiably between Oct '**-March '**, Plus the $***.** plus $*.**.**Do try and show some efficiency by responding to this mail within * business days from today! and acknowledge having received this mail today.**Thank you,*Samira Fancy
