To whom it may concern: **I have been a Sears customer for over ** years. I have purchased a Protective Agreement each year accordingly. In the old days, Sears provided immediate and responsible service. You could speak with a dispatch agent and know when your technician would be arriving.**I have had four different appointments scheduled with Sears over the past four months due to experiencing thermostat issues with my GE Monogram refrigerator. For some reason or another, inexplainable, three of those four times, I had to take off work wait through not only the appointed time between *-noon when my housekeeper would be here on a given Thursday and once my housekeeper would leave I had to return home and wait because not only did they had not arrive at the appointed time… they NEVER arrived causing me to have to again reschedule, make sure my housekeeper would be home or myself.**Four approximately weeks ago one service technician arrived (again not at the appointed time) a lovely man investigated the problem as he assessed it and indicated the fridge needed parts which he ordered. All the parts arrived within the last ten days and Sears was notified accordingly. This technician scheduled an appointment for today thursday October *th between the hours of * and noon. I gave up work, yet another day, my housekeeper was ill today. I had to leave to pick up my granddaughter in Woodland Hills, I live in Cheviot Hills, and needed to leave by noon. The technician had not arrived. I phoned my husband to come home to relieve me which he did. I phoned SEARS probably every hour to see where and what time the technician would be arriving.**The technician never arrived. I am asking for some remuneration to be compensated for this inexcusable behavior and blame Sears even though you now contract out everything. You probably don’t even vet the companies you hire to perform such repairs either!**Because of this recurring inconvenience I have lost hundreds of dollars of food due to over freezing in my refrigerator and freezer alike. When I went to the website to file the food claim, you provide a form asking for pricing etc which is ridiculous after the fact since I go to the market, put away my groceries and discard the receipts. This is insane how you operate.**I want … I demand better service and appropriate behavior from your company and am asking that when a service provider is scheduled for an appointed time that they be at my home during that exact time frame. This is unconscionable behavior you have supported and are not providing your customers with utmost respect and care.**I will await your reply and when this service contract expires I will not be renewing with Sears. In the meantime, the refrigerator continues to indicate problems with the thermostat and is IN NEED OF REPAIRING. PLEASE ADVISE HOW YOU WISH TO RESPOND TO THIS COMPLAINT.
