Have a fridge delivered which I had paid for ... I ordered and paid online for a fridge on a Thursday. I took the full day off on the following Tuesday, and they came an hour early with the WRONG fridge. We rescheduled delivery for four days later - they were four hours late and the door was opening on the wrong side so they took it back to the warehouse to correct. We rescheduled it for today (now almost two weeks after paying for the fridge) and came five hours before I said I could be home. I canceled the order.
The customer can not be expected to take full days off work to prepare for them to come.....not everyone has the luxury of working at home or working for a company who lets you take off without previous notice
I don't believe it can be -- the warehouse would have to make a special delivery at a time I can be available.
This is a first (and last) experience for me to make a big purchase like that online through Sears. I expected them to accommodate my schedule since the warehouse was a fault for not delivering the product I had ordered.
Rescheduling a third time should be enough of a solution for Sears to step up and make it right.
