I use a Seagate Backup Plus Portable Drive *TB which I got last November. It's been working really well up until today. I watched a movie today with my family using the hard drive - it was connected to the TV and it worked just fine. I disconnected it from the TV and attached it to the laptop because I had to do some work and again, it worked just fine! I transferred some files within the drive and copied some files to my laptop. I disconnected it and turned my laptop off. We were about to watch a movie using the hard drive on the TV again but the TV didn't read the hard drive. We all thought that it was the TV but when I connected it to my laptop, it can no longer be detected either. I use a Macbook Air **** with OS X Yosemite. I tried connecting it to an older Macbook Pro but it couldn't be detected either. Please help as the contents of the hard drive is very important to me and I don't know if it has been backed up since I first got it. Thank you.
