Hi there. Im having a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Light. Just recently, I had charged my phone and shut it off completely to save battery throughout my day. Later on, I tried turning it on and it froze on the boot up screen just after it does the "woosh" with the Samsung logo. I tried the regular way to shut it off and when that wasn't responding, I did the hard reset where I hold the power button down. That only restarted the phone and it froze on the same screen where it is a white screen with "T Mobile" there. Normally it would go right to my home screen after that but it just keeps freezing there over and over. I waited longer and longer each time just to be sure. It didn't work. So, I looked up to see if anyone else has the same issues. (Apperently the Galaxy Light isn't a widely used phone today haha) I couldnt find anything that would help other than the developer options menu. I held the power button * volume up * home button and it took me to that list of commands. The first thing I did was the clear cache towards the bottom. An error screen popped up and the whole process started over again where it would start up but freez just before I would be able to get to my home screen or any of my apps. I did the botton thing again, took a deep sigh, and did the factory reset option. The phone restarted again like it was doing, and froze. I couldnt turn it off without taking the battery out so i did that. I put it back in and it showed an "optimizing applications" thing or something like that. More apps are getting optimized and then BAM it freezes there before the actual phone could be used for anything. It was stuck loading for a long time so I figured id try and hold the power button and itd start loading over again. That did absolutely nothing so I took out the battery (which is still fully charged) and put it back in. Now it wont respond to anything. Its now a perminant black screen. It wont turn on no matter what i do. I plugged it in and it would normally show the battery charging screen but that doesn't pop up. Is there any hope for me here? I was hoping to do a regular factory reset, wipe it clean, and maybe even sell it since there wasn't much on it anyway. If there is any way I could fix it, that would be great.
