The issue in GetHuman-leisamil's own words
This is a very long story that has been going on for over a month. I will keep it simple and to the point. In November ****, I bought a Samsung **" TV. Just over a month ago the screen went black but I still had sound. I called Samsung, they told me I was out of warranty but gave me the number to their authorized repaired people. I called them and explained what was going on and they told me it was an issue with the back light and although that happens it shouldn't have happened on such a new TV, it would be $*,***.** or more to fix and I should ask Samsung to pay. I called back again and told them what he said and the authorized the repairs to be made and they would pay for the parts. I called back to set up the apt and the technician said it would be $***.** or more to come to my house, he said sometimes Samsung will pay for everything. I called back again and spoke to someone who said Samsung would cover everything and updated my ticket *. (Ticket ****-***-****) I called the technician (Chris, he said he was a manager) and he said I got the updated ticket, he would order the parts and call me next week to set up an apt for the repair, probably Tuesday **** or Wednesday *****. I got a call on Tuesday from Samsung telling me the repair was cancelled it was too far to come, I was transferred Case Management, she told me to find someone in my area to do the repair since your authorized dealer wouldn't do it and Samsung would pay for the repair. I can't find anyone in my area (I live in rural area) and I called back to tell them that and a very rude person basically told me that there was nothing they could do. Their people didn't want to fix it and the ticket was closed! I now have a **" TV that I can't use, no one that can repair it, very rude customer service people at Samsung that told me they would repair my TV and then didn't follow through. I am not very happy with Samsung and would like to get this issued resolved. I cannot afford a new TV or to pay someone $*,***.** for repairs
