On ********* I purchased a **" Samsung Smart TV(UN**M****AF) from Best Buy ****, Hoover, Alabama and on ********** while watching TV from my bed, the picture just went out and a spider web look appeared. I returned the television to Best Buy and explained what happen. I was told it was an impact to the screen. I explained to them that I was watching TV from my bed and was not even close to my TV when it went out. The Operation Manager, Peter, told me the TV was not covered under warranty and they could not send it off for repairs. I asked what could be done since I purchased the extended warranty and he said it did not cover impact damage. I had four of their employees to touch the screen to see there were no scratches or any other damages to the cover screen. Peter informed me the TV I purchased for $***.** * **.** extended warranty was discontinued. The closest TV they has comparable to the one (**") I had was an LG **LJ***B-PU (for $**.**) which does not have any of the Smart features. I had no other choices. So I purchased the $**.** * $**.** extended warranty LG TV). I feel that I was cheated out of $***.**. I should have received a TV at no cost to me. I feel that something inside the TV happened that caused the screen to go black and the spider web look appear. It was beyond my control and I should have had a TV replaced with the same features I had and at no cost to me. I should be reimbursed $***.** the extra amount paid for the Samsung TV. Your consideration in this matter is greatly appreciated.
