I have been a customer of Sams Club for over * years and I am now questioning my decision on why I am a Sams Club member. *I wanted to purchase the Hangout Pod Kids Hanging Tent on the One Day Sale today, November **, ****. *I kept trying to purchase this item several times on your website but it would not allow me to. Since this was an item that would make * little girls very happy, I decided to take more time out of my day to call customer service. When I spoke to the representative she explained that the website was not working and I needed to keep trying to click on the item and it should add it to the cart sooner or later. I tried over and over again and it didn’t work and then the website said it was sold out. *I then started calling local sams club and they were sold out too. When I finally got in touch with the Newington CT Sams Club they said they had some available. It was going to take me ** minutes to get there, however because of the time of day, I wouldn’t make it before it closed. I asked the representative if I could pay over the phone and pick it up and she said that was not an option. *I then called your customer service number again and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with Eric from the Rio Rancho center (he said he was not allowed to give out his last name). I explained the situation to him asking if I could possibly get the sale price if I drove all the way to the Newington CT Sams Club tomorrow. Without hesitation he said no, stating that’s not an option, basically telling me there is nothing he could do for me. I cannot tell you how frustrated I was by a manager who didn’t seem to care about customers or customer service. *There was no empathy when he was explaining it to me and no willingness to try to help. *There are many options as a customer, that has to pay to belong to a retail warehouse club. With this type of treatment, it makes it very difficult for me to want to continue to do business with your company. *This is not an outlandish request, your website was not working I am just asking to get the product at the price you published. *I am looking forward to hearing from you, Heidi Sharpe
