Ref FR**** to BCN **th July **** Delayed delayed delayed!!!*It will be over * hours late by the time we leave Stansted and no-one from your airline was available to update all of the passengers who were called to gate ** for hours. Initially on the flight display boards it stated ETA of **** then stated go to gate. Absolutely no consideration of passengers at the gate sweltering in the heat. No apologies made until on-board the a*c by a cabin attendant who gave no reason for the delay and sounded as she was making it up as she went along. Back to the gate area. As there was no rep or security personell at the gate * ladies went through the doors to the jetty and were gone for quite some time to see what they could find out. Extremely unsafe but no-one there to stop this. Not long after the ladies returned we boarded. It's now **** UK time so now * hours delayed the Captain has just informed us that they were ready * and a half hours ago but Ryan Air had no ground crew to load our bags on to the aircraft!!!!! Operational but handled completely the wrong way. Maybe you should employ some bank staff to cover shortages. Not impressed and a very deflating start to our trip to Spain. Oh and our transfer in BCN now wants to charge Euro ** extra for the delayed pick up!!!!
