a while back I ordered a distributor for a **** Toyota Camry and got it in record time. However, it lost the coil in it and I was instructed to put it in the box that you folks were shipping my replacement part in and mail it back. When I installed this part it was a little different as the distributor cap did not fit the replacement part. So I installed the replacement part with the cap that came with it and the car ran great but would not idle at the correct rpm. Now every time I start the car I have to throttle up just a little for about forty seconds and then it would keep running. There really is not a problem as far as I am concerned in ordering another distributor and paying for it. I just did not know how to explain that I would like to have the distributor that my care is supposed to have so that it will idle at the proper rpm. I may not be saying this a good as I could have explained in person but I am left with no options. I don't use this car an awful lot but I would like it to run like it should. I tried adjusting the idle a littler faster but then when the care was warmed up, and I put it in gear, it would be to fast and if I left the idle at that speed I would not have a transmission for very long as it just slammed into gear. I would like to explain what I am talking about in person but what I really would like is to buy another distributor for my car. Bob
