I had a troubling experience at the RaceTrac on Barrett Pkwy. On August 30th around 7 pm, I went in to cash my lotto ticket and was assisted by the evening shift manager, Marquelle. He was incredibly rude, asking me bluntly if I wanted cash or more tickets, and when I inquired about the amount, he sharply told me it was eight dollars and that I could take it or leave it. Shocked by his behavior, I asked for the manager, which he rudely pointed out on the door. Another employee informed me that Marquelle's demeanor was known, prompting me to ask for the district manager's contact information. Marquelle continued to be unpleasant, even smiling at the situation and aggressively shoving his name tag in my face. This treatment was unacceptable, and I left the store upset, considering taking my business elsewhere if this is RaceTrac's standard. The manager's actions are disappointing for someone in a leadership role, and I believe he should face consequences for his disrespectful behavior towards customers.

I would like to share a recent experience at one of your stores in Fort Worth, Texas on Camp Bowie. My husband and I run a business purchasing storage units at auctions, often filled with trash that we dispose of. On October 23rd at 8:30 p.m., we visited your store near the race track we frequent. The manager on duty, Sadie Dorsey, asked for our IDs and then had us escorted out, causing immense embarrassment due to how we were treated. Despite being regular customers who spend hundreds monthly, we were made to feel unwelcome. We observed others just loitering and using facilities without making purchases, unlike us who always buy something if using the microwave. The way we were singled out and humiliated by Sadie Dorsey was unacceptable. Kindly address this issue. Thank you.

I am contacting about the RaceTrac located on Pine Island Road. I typically spend $[redacted] a week at this store. Recently, I purchased a pack of beer and opened one before leaving the store. The manager, Tina, called the police on me even though I was on my way out and not loitering. Many people frequent this store as it is a convenient stop. However, Tina trespassed me as I was already leaving. I would like assistance in resolving this situation as I harbor no ill feelings and did not intend to be disrespectful. Thank you for your help.

I am concerned about the Saginaw store in Saginaw, TX, providing my husband, who has Alzheimer's, with free snuff even though he is not supposed to have it. Despite explaining his medical condition, the daytime employees there continue to give him complimentary cans. I am willing to seek legal advice if his health deteriorates due to their actions. I am particularly disturbed by the statement made by a young man and woman at the store suggesting that if someone lacks money, there must be a reason for it. It is unusual for a store to offer free tobacco and drinks to customers. While I prefer to resolve this privately, I am prepared to escalate this matter if necessary. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this issue. - R. Qualls

Last night, I visited the RaceTrac at the NorthWest Highway location in Dallas, Texas. I purchased a large hot chocolate, a large French Vanilla Cappuccino, a 24-count box of Snickers peanut butter, and an 18-count box of Reese's Fast Break candy bars. Unfortunately, I left the store without paying and encountered an incident with an employee. I acknowledge my mistake and take full responsibility. The behavior of the employee was unprofessional and caused distress to me and my passengers. I am willing to reimburse your company and resolve this matter amicably. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and hope for your understanding and forgiveness. Best regards, Mr. G

While we were at your gas station, an incident occurred involving your employee, Kyle, and my seventy-five-year-old father. Kyle accused my father of damage to a plastic sign near the gas pump. Despite my father agreeing to move the vehicle after finishing pumping gas, Kyle involved a police officer, escalating the situation. Ultimately, it was discovered that the fallen sign was not visible until approaching it closely. Kyle's behavior was inappropriate, as he accused my elderly father of lying, causing embarrassment. His actions were unfounded and unprofessional, and he handled the situation poorly, displaying bully-like behavior.

Hello, I would like to share my recent experience at the RaceTrac located at [redacted] Martin Luther King Highway 82 in Fort Myers. The restroom was in poor condition with minimal toilet paper and litter scattered around. Additionally, there were no napkins available by the coffee area, with even bread found on the floor. After requesting assistance from the manager to address these issues, I noticed the restroom being attended to by an employee later on, but still, many napkin holders remained empty. Despite the location being busy, it was disappointing to see such a messy environment. I hope for higher standards in the future to ensure a more pleasant visit. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I am Caleb Davis, a former employee at a Racetrac store on Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta, GA. I need to report an incident involving the local manager, Tyler, who made racist comments about guests and coworkers at the store. Tyler's remarks were offensive and unprofessional, creating a hostile work environment. I was unable to reach HR yet, but I am planning to do so. I felt it was important to inform the corporate office about these inappropriate behaviors. Tyler's derogatory comments included insulting African American customers, making inappropriate remarks about an employee from Africa, and disrespectful comments about other colleagues. These incidents occurred in February and greatly affected my morale and motivation to continue working there. The negative atmosphere, coupled with a lack of support from my GM, led to my abrupt resignation. As a company that values diversity, I believe it's crucial to address such behavior promptly to maintain a positive workplace environment. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Caleb I. Davis

I recently bought an electronic cigarette at your Palm Harbor store less than a month ago. I gifted it to my sister for her birthday two days ago, and she didn't like it. I was assured at the time of purchase that I could return it if she didn't enjoy it. I have the receipt and packaging, but the store is refusing to provide a refund. I'm going through tough times after losing my job and really need the money to buy my sister something she truly wants. I'm disappointed and upset by this experience. I've been a loyal customer since your store opened and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I just returned from a racetrac near me located at the corner of Park & Alma at 10:05 pm, and I experienced some of the worst service I have ever encountered. I've tolerated poor service from this place for the last time. It's frustrating that using a $[redacted] bill in [redacted] is nearly impossible at racetrac. When I paid $6 for a $5.28 purchase and received 7 dimes and 2 cents as change, I was taken aback. The cashier's refusal to provide quarters, opting for dimes instead, seemed lazy to me. Even when I inquired about quarters and got a dismissive response, the lack of customer service stands out. Despite being a loyal customer of racetrac over QT, this experience has pushed me to reconsider. It's not just about receiving the correct change; it's about the continuous poor service that has finally made me decide to part ways with racetrac and its subpar customer service.

I usually work at night, so when I see your sign stating you close between 2 and 3, I make sure to arrive before 2 to get gasoline at your store. However, the RaceTrac on Bells Ferry tends to close 10 to 15 minutes early, causing inconvenience. It would be greatly appreciated if the store could stick to the posted closing time, as it's frustrating to have to drive extra miles to find fuel elsewhere. This has happened three times now, and it would be ideal to be able to rely on the store being open when I arrive at 2. Thank you for addressing this issue and ensuring consistency in closing times.

I would like to file a complaint regarding the behavior of an employee named Raphael at RaceTrac store #[redacted] in College Park, GA. Unfortunately, during a recent visit on May 26, [redacted] at 7:00 pm, I experienced extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism from him. I have been a regular customer at this location and have always had positive interactions until this incident. While purchasing some Coke bottles, I accidentally dropped one, prompting me to ask for assistance in cleaning it up. The response I received from Raphael was completely unacceptable. Despite explaining it was an accident, he proceeded to speak to me in a disrespectful manner. I was shocked by his behavior and left feeling deeply disrespected. I hope that the management team addresses this issue seriously.

Last Friday, on October 15th, I visited store [redacted] S Cobb Dr to pump gas and buy a lottery ticket at Pump #6. Shortly after leaving the store, my car started shaking unexpectedly, which was not an issue before refueling. I contacted the store to report a possible problem with the gas. I spoke with the store manager, Mario, who advised me to come back the next morning to speak with a co-manager named Bri. Following his advice, I planned to visit the store, but my car's check engine light came on, and it started stalling. After contacting Bri, she referred me to another employee named Tabious. He mentioned involving risk management to address my concerns and advised me to have a diagnostic test on my car to confirm if the issue stemmed from the gas. Today, being Monday, I am at the dealership, and it has been determined that the bad gas caused the problems in my almost new vehicle. The repair costs total $[redacted], and I am seeking reimbursement for the damages. I have the diagnostic report and gas receipt as evidence. Restoring my car's functionality is crucial for my daily commute to work, and it's unfortunate that I have already missed work today. My contact information is Chinqua Patrick at phone number [redacted].

Hello, my name is Shakurea Moore, and I am an employee at store [redacted]. I would enjoy working here more if the staff, especially the manager, knew how to communicate effectively. On Thursday, 01/06/[redacted], Manager Tequan arrived an hour late and immediately asked me to leave without providing any explanation, simply because another employee, Charles, had arrived. This situation caused inconvenience for me as I had been dropped off at work and didn't have a way home when Charles arrived as my fiance was already at work. I believe that I should be compensated for my time as I wasted both time and gas coming to work for only 30 minutes. I tried to address the issue with Carolyn, but unfortunately, it wasn't resolved. Additionally, the communication from the HR manager, Tiffany, left me dissatisfied. The recent health concerns within the store, with both the Co-Manager and Night Manager being ill, have contributed to a challenging work environment. I have been considering quitting due to the ongoing issues with Manager Tequan and her lack of communication skills. I even had to return to work for a shift after being sent home sick, despite having been out the previous week due to health problems. The current situation is frustrating, and I just want to see improvements in how the management communicates with the staff.

Hello, I appreciate your attention to my concern. On Friday, April 22nd, around 10:15 am, I arrived at the gas pump and tried to seek assistance by calling the provided number. Due to physical challenges, I am unable to pump my own fuel. Unfortunately, I only reached the answering machine. When I went to the doors, they were locked with a notice indicating opening hours from 5:30 am. Despite ringing the bell, I observed four employees hiding and laughing inside. Despite explaining my situation as a loyal customer who often purchases fuel, they refused me entry, even though I am parked in a handicap spot with a visible placard, using a cane. Feeling desperate, I had no choice but to relieve myself, and the employees still denied me access. The specific middle-aged woman I recognize even waved sarcastically at me. This ordeal left me feeling humiliated and frustrated, marking it as my worst experience during a straightforward task. I apologize if my message seems disorganized. Thank you.

I am extremely upset about the treatment we received at your Racetrack location on Homerun Dr in Davenport, FL. We parked, paid $20 for gas, requested pump 6, and ended up soaked in gasoline because the pump was faulty, a fact not disclosed to us. The attendant did not refund us or provide a proper remedy. As a non-profit, we had important errands to run and had to drive full of gas due to this incident. The lack of empathy and care from the staff is unacceptable, and even after pointing out the issue, there was no real apology or resolution. It is disappointing that the situation was not addressed promptly and that our $20 was not returned. I suggested putting up a warning sign on the pump, but the response was lackluster. The way we were treated was disrespectful, to say the least. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to Racetrack in the future.

Living so close to the racetrack, I face these issues daily. Despite employees being present, the track closes after 11:00 p.m. and selectively serves customers at the window, often mouthing apologies while turning many away. The Icee machine and gas pumps are unreliable, and there are never clean fluid or paper towels available. Even on a Friday night with five employees on-site, they closed the store at 10:00 p.m. as usual. Instead of posting a closed sign, customers are forced to walk up to be informed in person. It seems like the employees couldn't care any less about the customer experience.

Every evening after work, I visit the race track convenience store. Despite being advertised as open 24 hours, I consistently find myself waiting outside as the door remains locked. This occurs nightly and causes frustration for a group of us waiting, with an employee inside seemingly amused by the situation. The door clearly states the store is open at all times, yet we are left standing outside. Consequently, I end up taking my business elsewhere across the street due to the consistent locking of the race track door by your employee.

This is very disturbing to me. I have been accused of something that never happened. I can legally prove that I have not been to the Racetrac on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in days. I was told today that two months ago I was supposedly banned from the store by an employee who was adamant about it, while the female manager, who is supposed to be second in charge, did not intervene. I have only been in the area for about two weeks, soon to be three weeks. As a disabled person, I cannot risk trouble that could lead to jail time. The lack of proof for these accusations is frustrating to me, especially when there is already negative sentiment towards this store. I hope this situation gets resolved before legal action is necessary. It is troubling to be falsely accused in such a manner, and I hope for a resolution regarding these employees and the situation.
