I visited Race Trac in Belleview, Florida just before 1:00 am this morning to get gas and some drinks and snacks for the day, but was surprised to find all the doors locked. The lone employee inside informed me she had locked the doors as a safety precaution due to being alone. I am a frequent visitor to this store, often stopping by 4-5 times a week, and sometimes twice a day. I was taken aback that the doors were locked without any backup plan in place. This incident left at least 4 customers, including myself, waiting outside for 5 minutes. Whether the fault lies with the store for not requiring two employees present or with the staff member for locking out customers is unclear. Perhaps implementing a policy where the previous shift cannot leave until the next one arrives could prevent such situations in the future. I hope for a resolution so that the 24-hour store can operate seamlessly for all customers, including frequent ones like myself.

During a recent visit to Racetrac with my boyfriend, an associate approached us in an extremely rude manner about two untouched sodas and coffee we were not done with yet. Despite explaining we were waiting to hear back from a friend about what they wanted, the associate demanded immediate payment. When we indicated we were still browsing and showed cash in hand, he aggressively disposed of our drinks and called the police. The whole ordeal was embarrassing and disrespectful, especially as he made a scene in front of other customers. Another associate even gestured for us to leave. This experience felt like racial profiling and was completely unjustified.

My concerns are regarding the Winter Haven, Florida store. The cleanliness of the bathrooms both inside and outside is consistently poor, and there are abandoned cars on the lot where some people even sleep overnight. Despite raising the issue with the management and district manager, nothing has been done to address these issues. The level of panhandling has also become intolerable. Several friends and I used to be regular customers, but due to these conditions, we will no longer be patronizing this location. It's disappointing to see a business operate in such a neglectful manner. Thankfully, there are other nearby Wawa locations that maintain higher standards which this store could learn from.

At a Racetrac location in Clermont, FL on Hwy 27, an employee accused me of refilling my large cup multiple times without payment. When visiting, I typically fill my cup halfway, take a few sips, then go to get a straw before topping it off. The employee claimed to have observed me drinking half my drink and refilling without paying, mentioning that this behavior is common among school bus drivers. This accusation has left me feeling offended and misunderstood. I only sip my drink to decide between coffee or mocha flavors. If other drivers engage in this behavior, I cannot speak for them. My name is Sandy Parrish, and I can be contacted at [redacted] before 12:30 P.M. Thank you.

I am frustrated with the Racetrac I visit as I never receive a receipt. Additionally, I recently lost my wallet there. When I returned to retrieve it, the attendant initially hesitated to give it back until I described it. He reluctantly handed it over without checking my ID. The overall customer service was rude. I won't be returning to this Racetrac, despite its convenient location off I75 in Ocala, Florida on W Silver Springs Blvd. Due to the lack of receipts, I don't have the store number to provide for reference.

Today, I visited Racetrack with my diesel truck, which has a 38-gallon tank. When the pump stopped at $75.00, displaying "you reached your limit," I felt frustrated. I believe I could have filled more than $[redacted].00 and should be able to set my own limit. As a person with a disability, it was challenging for me to then have to go to another gas station since I couldn't continue filling up and was told to go inside. This experience has shown me how inconvenient it can be for disabled individuals like myself. I've decided that I will not be using Racetrack stations again in the future. It seems that while there may be a reason for this policy, it overlooks the difficulties it poses for people with disabilities. I intend to report this to the ADA as it could be a violation of my rights.

I am looking to settle a $3.50 balance that I paid using a debit card at the store. The payment showed as approved, but upon checking my balance at home, I discovered an issue. I had a bad experience with a young lady at the store, where words were exchanged. Despite this, there are other friendly staff members there. After a confrontation, I mistakenly believed the payment was made and left. I regret letting the situation affect me, especially after recently losing my mother. I am upset by the disrespect I encountered. I am 70 years old and value respect. Please contact me promptly to resolve the payment matter. Mrs. D. [redacted]. Thank you and God bless.

On April 22nd, I visited your store located at [redacted] Howland in Deltona, FL. I experienced extremely rude service during my visit. The cashier did not smile, slammed the drawer when I paid, avoided eye contact, and did not give me my change back. When I requested my change, she reacted by rolling her eyes, hastily reopening the register, and tossing the change into my hand. When I inquired about her name, she bluntly stated that it was on the receipt, which she failed to provide along with my change. After asking once more, she rudely revealed her name as Alyssa. It was approximately 11:30 am, and the store was nearly empty. Having worked as a cashier for 20 years, I cannot comprehend mistreating a customer in such a manner. Regrettably, due to this unpleasant experience, I will not be returning to the store and will be sharing my encounter with others to highlight the disrespectful behavior of this employee named Alyssa.

There are ongoing issues with smoking, drugs, and homelessness at the Ulmerton Rd and 66th St location in Largo. Despite signs prohibiting smoking, there are cigarette butts and ashes on tables, chairs, and the ground. I have refrained from visiting for weeks due to seeing multiple incidents, including a person smoking in the designated non-smoking area without any intervention from staff. On one occasion, a persistent individual in the corner continued to smoke even after being asked to stop by an employee, leading to further discomfort and harassment. The presence of "no smoking" signs seems to be ineffective in deterring these behaviors. Unfortunately, there have been instances of drug use and exchanges that have also been observed at this location.

As a devoted customer in Port Richey, FL for six years, I want to address an issue I recently encountered at your store. During a recent visit for a soda refill, I was surprised to be charged $1.39 (for Mountain Dew) when the standard price at other convenience stores is only $.99. This 40% increase is concerning to me, as I frequent your store 15-20 times a week for gas, cigarettes, soda, and lottery purchases. Until your prices become more competitive, I will be utilizing another store for my needs. You can reach me at [redacted] if necessary. This sudden price hike is unacceptable to me and may unfortunately result in the loss of many loyal customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

RaceTrac Customer Service,
I am writing to bring to your attention some concerns I have regarding the service at your RaceTrac locations in Sanford, Florida. The RaceTrac on South Orlando avenue and the one on HW 46 both had issues that I experienced recently.
During an afternoon fill-up at the South Orlando location, I found the pumps to be inoperative without any signs outside. After trying multiple pumps, I went inside the store only to find out that they were out of gas. I was disappointed that the signs were not outside on the pumps to inform customers upfront. Additionally, I was a frequent customer for the mocha at RaceTrac, and I was dismayed to find out it was removed from the offerings. This change has made me reconsider my visits to RaceTrac.
I hope RaceTrac can address these concerns and restore the quality of service that I have come to expect.
Sincerely,
Cedric Baugh

I visited Trace Track on Port St. Lucie Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, FL to cash in my Florida Lottery winnings of $38 from 9 tickets. The winnings included a $20 ticket, a $4 ticket, and several $2 tickets. The cashier, Hope, who was on her second day, scanned all the tickets. The system showed that all tickets had won, but she threw them away and only gave me $24. I questioned the amount, but she insisted it was correct. I asked for a manager and was told to come back the next day at 9:00 am to speak with Carla. When I returned, Carla was not there, so I spoke with Dena, a co-manager, who checked the previous day's lottery overages and could only give me an additional $9. There seems to be an issue at the store if there are overages while customers are not receiving their full winnings. I plan to report this incident to the Florida Lottery.

I would like to report an incident that occurred at the Race Trac store on Monday, July 1, [redacted], at 11:03 pm. During their operational hours, I found the store closed with an employee sitting at the counter texting. Despite knocking, the employee did not come to the door. Additionally, the store did not have their operational hours posted anywhere on the front. This situation is concerning as it implies money is being wasted paying an employee not actively working. This behavior violates company policy and should result in immediate action. I have photos of the store as evidence. My contact information is Ren Brown at [redacted]

The RaceTrac located at [redacted] Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida, has a strong chemical odor inside the store that is causing discomfort such as burning eyes, a runny nose, and coughing. When I mentioned this to the cashier, she didn't show much concern and suggested it might be from cleaning the counters. However, the smell is severe and feels like a harmful chemical exposure. I am still feeling symptoms even after leaving the store. Other customers have also noticed the smell, with some comparing it to paint thinner. I tried calling customer service, but they are closed on weekends. This issue seems urgent, and I urge someone to investigate this situation promptly to prevent further customers from being affected.

I visit this gas station several times a week, mostly in the evenings. I also purchase Lucas gas treatment and usually opt to pay by the gallon, as the bottle states it treats up to 15 gallons. Today at around 3:45 p.m., I approached the counter and asked the attendant for 15 gallons. He seemed unsure and estimated it would be around $[redacted]. When I suggested he calculate it by 15 gallons, he handed me the calculator and told me to do it myself. I was surprised by his response. I ended up buying $39 of gas and the Lucas treatment, totaling $46. I usually don't face issues in the evening when the staff usually helps me out. Maybe having a designated button for pay by the gallon could simplify things for employees who struggle with calculations. This experience won't deter me from returning, but I may avoid the station when he's working if he struggles with basic calculations like multiplication.

As a committed fan of boiled peanuts, I'd like to offer some friendly advice to your stores. Please instruct them not to empty the entire contents of the boiled peanut cans into the pot, as this makes them excessively salty. For each can used, pour half of the brine water out and replace it with fresh water. Additionally, it is important not to leave the peanuts sitting in the pot all day since they are already cooked. Over-soaking them turns them into mush, so it's best to avoid this. I adore boiled peanuts and would hate to stop purchasing them if this issue persists. Consider finding a way to keep them warm without letting them sit in briny water for too long. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently visited the racetrack in Prairieville and had a disappointing experience. After waiting patiently to pay for my burger, the clerks seemed disorganized and rude. When I tried to pay with a card, one of the clerks was impolite and refused to ring up my burger because it was opened. I managed to resolve the issue, but the employees continued to be disrespectful. To add to that, they made unwarranted comments about me and my friend, who is blind. Despite being prepared to wait, the service we received was unacceptable. The employees' behavior was unprofessional and confrontational. I was even more disheartened when they criticized me while I was leaving. This negative encounter has deterred me from returning to this location. I hope the management addresses the attitude and behavior of their staff to improve the overall customer experience.

I recently visited a RaceTrac to get my favorite Cherry Coke freeze. Today, the price on the machine showed $1.39 for a large, but at the register, I was told it was $1.59. I was frustrated by the discrepancy. I took a picture of the price on the machine and showed another staff member to resolve the issue. While it was only a $0.20 difference, it's the principle that matters. Employees should not argue over prices with customers; instead, they should take the time to ensure accuracy. Customers like me expect fair pricing and good service, as our money pays their wages. Prices should be checked regularly to avoid these situations, and employees need to prioritize customer satisfaction over arguments.
