Over the summer, the apartment in question was being used by a sublettor and the internet was just being paid by me for convenience. After the summer ended (Aug. **st), the sublettor moved but the I had been in and out of the hospital due to a recent diagnosis. As a result, while I paid up through what was supposed to be the final billing period, I forgot to cancel the account and bills got buried along with medical bills. I understand I am at fault for not canceling the account, but is there any way we can write off the last two months of internet service? No bandwidth was used as the new residents have a separate internet service. I’m really sorry for letting this slip through the cracks. I canceled the service on ***** so no more bills should pile up, but is there anything that can be done to help with the current outstanding balance? As a side note, I’m currently talking with the current residents and will have the modem mailed back next week. My account number is ****-*******-**. Thank you so much for any help you can provide. It’s really appreciated.
