I rented a unit in South San Francisco and I vacated it on the day that I was supposed to which was April **th of this year. I am now getting rebilled and I'm in collections for May rent because the employees did not check the unit until the first day of the following month, which was May of this year. Since the employees didnt do whatever needs to be done on the day someone vacates a unit the computer simply generated another bill in error and it needs to be reversed. No one has ever told me i need to physically tell someone in the office when the unit is empty. Not in ** years have i ever been told thst. I am usually emptying my unit before or after a manager is in the office anyway because i work weird hours. The employee st the facility knows that I was out on the day i was supposed to be but he told me I have to contact someone at a corporate office in Castro Valley to fix this error. I've called for over a month and no one is calling me back and no one has emailed me or anything in regards to fixing this mistake. I cannot have this going against my credit I was out when I was supposed to be have pix and witnesses to prove it. The gate code would prove it as well. You could see the date when i used it last and what time t was used. and the employee there knows I was I do not understand why the situation is not getting handled and even addressed by anyone in your in your corporate office because of the employees at the facility say it's out of their hands and it has to be reversed on an district managers computer well no one has contacted me and i do not understand that. I have been a customer for over ** years and need this error fixed. Can somebody contact me and take care of this issue so I don't have to deal with the collection agencies and I do not have this against my credit? I'm currently applying for housing and I cannot have this against my credit. I would prefer a phone call versus email But whichever one is faster is fine my phone number is ***-******* Thank you.
