Dear Niantic**My name is Michael Mriscin, and several years ago I was diagnosed with an Autism known as Asperger Syndrome. All my life, I’ve preferred to a loner and avoided socializing with others. However, that changed after I took a train from Mattoon to Chicago and got to experience Pokemon Go Fest. It was the first time I had been in a big city by myself, and that was and adventure I hadn’t had before. I also got the chance to interact with other players, and became best friends with someone that attended go fest and happened to be from Charleston IL. *Since go Fest, I’ve gotten a chance to socialize in the community and met several other people who have become family to me. Pokemon Go has helped me learn that it’s important to build relationships and make new friends. *I was ** years old when I attended go fest, yet I didn’t have my driver’s license. Attending Go fest and being able to interact with the people in my community inspired me to bite the bullet, and get my driver’s license. It was a lot of hard work, but I’m happy to say that this past January I did the unthinkable, and obtained my license. If I didn’t have this wonderful game in my life, I don’t think I would have had the courage to pursue my driver’s license. *Finally, before playing Pokemon Go, I wasn’t a very active person and weighed *** pounds. However, this game motivated me to walk around town and hopefully lose some of that weight. I’m proud to say, that nearly * years since Playing Pokemon Go, I am *** pounds. I haven’t weighed that low since ****. I hope to continue this trend and lose even more weight while playing Pokemon Go. *Even though I was unable to get tickets this year, to attend Pokemon Go Fest, I bought a train ticket to come experience the fun events you have planned that weekend in while I’m in Chicago. *Thank you Niantic for helping me to to mega-evolve into a more confident man who loves to socialize, has his his driver’s license and committed to lose more weight. *-*Michael Ronald Mriscin aka *****@***.com
