I created a profile on POF yesterday. Later in the evening, I received an email notification that a specific person had sent me a message. However, when I attempted to log in, I kept seeing a message in red font stating my password was incorrect, even though I was certain it was correct as I had written it down. Despite numerous attempts to use the "forgot password" feature, I did not receive any emails to reset my password. I decided to register again, assuming it would eventually prompt me that my email already existed, allowing me to log in and reset my password. Surprisingly, I was able to re-register and re-upload my photos. After conversing with someone and going to bed, I woke up to messages. Unfortunately, when I tried to log in, I encountered the same red error message about my password being incorrect. Despite being confident in my password, I tried the "forgot password" feature again, but still have not received any emails in my inbox or spam folder. I reached out to customer support this morning, and I am unsure if my message was received. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded my membership, but after paying, I can't see who's interested in me or who read my messages. I initially thought it was a payment issue, but my Apple ID shows the subscription is valid until April. I've reached out to POF tech support several times today with no response. It's frustrating since I took the day off work to explore the website.

I have encountered multiple scam attempts recently, totaling six occurrences in a row. The latest was particularly concerning as the individual claimed to be a two-star general who was previously involved with NATO in Kabul, Afghanistan. After identifying the deception, I managed to have them removed from the platform. Subsequently, I noticed another profile featuring a four-star general, leading me to investigate and getting banned as a result. I urge POF to enhance the scrutiny of profiles, especially those involving military personnel. I regret not noting the usernames of the scammers with regular accounts who requested money and pleaded with me. I did, however, save the profiles of the military imposters: "austinscott" and "thomas202000,66". Your assistance in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Three unauthorized attempts were made by POF to withdraw funds from my account. The cardholder is Mr Alex Wilson with card number 4[redacted] 0[redacted]. Currently, the RBS Fraud Department has blocked the card. As a disabled and housebound individual, the implications are severe as I cannot purchase essential items. I kindly request for this unauthorized activity to stop immediately. It is urgent for me to resolve this matter as I am in a difficult situation regarding my necessary expenses. Thank you for addressing this promptly as I urgently need access to my card for online transactions.

I am requesting urgent assistance with a fake profile on POF using my daughter's photos and the username FetiShhQueen. This false account is causing my daughter distress and harassment in public. To prove the photos are unauthorized, I can provide my daughter's license. The situation has escalated to the creation of a fake Facebook profile. We have already managed to have that Facebook account closed down. I am now taking further action by engaging a private investigator to identify those responsible for these harmful activities. Your attention to this matter is appreciated. - Louise Cataldi

I matched with another user in the match section on POF and attempted to message her, but she is below the age deemed appropriate by POF. Despite our mutual match, I'm unable to contact her. I feel POF has become problematic compared to Tinder and Bumble. The app now charges for services that used to be free, making it seem sketchy. After leaving for a few years, I came back to find little change aside from the app's appearance. Contacting POF customer service has been a challenge, requiring me to search the Internet for a way to reach out. I question how POF remains profitable with its current practices. I doubt I'll receive a response, suspecting my message will be scanned for certain keywords or simply ignored.

I need to delete or hide my profile urgently. My username is DaniT123 (I believe) with the email [redacted] linked to it. Unfortunately, I can't remember my password, and when I request a password reset to my hotmail account, I don't receive the email (I've checked my Junk folder multiple times). Can you please assist in deleting my profile or provide guidance on how to do it? Without being able to log in due to issues with hotmail, this seems impossible. Thank you for your help. I've enjoyed using POF, but I need to leave because I've met someone. My mobile number is [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. Thank you once again, Dani.

Recently, due to encountering scammers, I chose to delete my POF account under the username lisaingeorgia. I attempted to create a new account but faced difficulties as my phone number was rejected. One individual attempting to create a fraudulent account on Match, using my phone number, is Bismarck Yeboah, who admitted to being a scammer based in Africa. He falsely utilized pictures from Sean Whalen, an Instagram motivational speaker. Although I can't recall his username precisely, it pertained to his physique with a six-pack. Eager to return to POF, I possess only one phone and corresponding number. How can I proceed to address this issue?

This is the third time I've encountered this issue. My password is not working, and I'm not receiving any emails to reset it. Just this morning, I was able to access the program without any problems. Yesterday, I was forced to register for a new account as I had no other choice. Despite using the same username, it allowed me to create a new account with the same name. Jumpyjan Edmonton1 I would appreciate it if this problem could be resolved. I'm uncertain whether my account has been compromised, leading to someone constantly deleting my profile.

A few days ago, some inappropriate comments that seemed to be from me were sent to other members. Following that, I noticed some unusual activity on my account for two nights. However, when I tried to log in to report these issues, I couldn't access my account as my username and password were not working. I reached out to [redacted] and [redacted] but haven't received any responses yet. It's frustrating not knowing what's happening with my photos, profile, and the members I've interacted with.

I am having trouble accessing my POF account due to an invalid password. It was working yesterday but not today. Despite numerous password reset requests, I have not received any response from POF. I suspect my account has been hacked since my inbox is flooded with 15 emails and my profile, previously hidden, was suddenly visible two days ago. This situation is urgent as a terminally ill friend from another state reached out to me to contact his family about important matters. I urgently need to reset my password.

I will be contacting the authorities regarding the ongoing issue. Despite trying to reach out for assistance over the past few days in regards to a particular photo, the response received seemed to dismiss the situation as the photo being deemed inappropriate. The photo in question was actually uploaded by a hacker soliciting inappropriate content. After resetting my password and reverting my photos, I am still experiencing difficulties messaging others. Messages intended for the hacker are still arriving, and I am unable to communicate with others. It is disappointing to note that there appears to be a lack of accountability for the hacking incident and the inappropriate messages flooding my inbox. It seems that reporting this matter to the police might be the only viable recourse.

A few mornings ago, I was on the app, but later that day when I tried to log in to check a message from someone I had been chatting with, I couldn't access my account. Despite numerous attempts to recover my password over the last five days, I have not received any emails, even after checking my spam folder. I've also added the recommended email address but still have not received any notifications.

I'm having trouble accessing my profile or creating a new one. The website says my email is already in use, even after resetting the password. Previously, I had a profile under JBWV, and recently tried to create one under WV Christian Woman but encountered issues with the questionnaire. I'm not sure how to proceed - should I give up on creating a new profile altogether?

I recently attempted to access my account after it had been inactive for several weeks due to personal matters. Despite my account being hidden, I noticed 15 messages and several meeting requests. However, I am unable to log in and suspect unauthorized use. I've been unsuccessful in resetting my password. I would appreciate assistance as I prefer not to create a new account. Thank you.

I am Martin S. Crabtree. On February 7, [redacted], I upgraded my POF.com account and successfully made the payment using my Credit One Mastercard. However, I deleted my account on the same day and now require a full refund to be processed back to my Credit One Mastercard. My POF account, "boredsince75," seems to have been compromised. I was unexpectedly logged out, and now I'm receiving notifications from men even though I'm only interested in women. Unfortunately, I can't access it since I'm not receiving the reset password email. As a premium user, all I want is to regain access to my account to remove my photos and information. I have no desire for a refund. - Michael

I have been using POF on and off for several years, but tonight I couldn't log in. I am unsure why and need assistance reconnecting. I used to regularly receive email notifications from interested individuals, but it has been about a month since I last received any. Even though I could view messages in my POF inbox upon logging in, I didn't receive the usual email notifications. I'm puzzled and wondering if there may be an issue I am unaware of.

I found that the app is full of automated accounts, more focused on self-promotion than genuine connections. Initially, I believed it was a dating app, but I was disappointed. When attempting to upgrade to a one-month subscription for better access, I unwittingly signed up for a full year with no prior warning or clarity from the app. This came as a shock. I would like to receive a refund for the unsuitable yearlong subscription as I only intended to pay for one month. Due to the high prevalence of fake profiles and the lack of local users, the app does not meet my dating needs, and I wish to remove it from my device. I hope for a resolution to this misunderstanding.

I have tried reaching out multiple times through email but keep receiving unhelpful instructions. My username is Moetown, and it seems my account has been compromised. The hacker is using my email, [redacted], with the username Irithel_43. I've been getting reset links from POF, but they are ineffective due to the hack. It's been almost a week since I could access my account. I fear that my profile may seem counterfeit as it displays a female photo when I am actually a black male. If this issue persists, I would appreciate a full refund and the deletion of my account.
