I am having trouble logging into my account with the username lostsouldreamer. It appears that the issue might be related to my profile picture. I followed the guidelines after receiving a warning for not having an abstract image and changed it to a picture of my face with a wolf filter on it. It's frustrating that my account was blocked over this picture when there are other members with inappropriate photos who are still active on the site. Nowhere in the rules does it specify that filters are not allowed on profile pictures. I find the double standard on this site concerning, and I request that my account be reinstated promptly.

To whom it may concern, I would like to report a user by the name of ocean6771 that I have been in contact with for almost 2 years. In July of [redacted], I initially met her and tried to help her with some money. Ultimately, I ended up giving her over $2,[redacted] in total. She mentioned being friends with benefits, but it never materialized despite the financial support I provided. Recently, she indicated that she was seeking friends with benefits, which left me feeling used and hurt. I have decided to remove my profile from the site to avoid further interaction. To whom it may concern, I would like to report a user by the name ocean6771 whom I thought was a friend. We started being friends in July [redacted], and over the course of nearly 2 years, I ended up giving her a significant amount of money. Initially, it started with $[redacted], then she asked for $[redacted], and later requested $[redacted]. Despite her hints at becoming friends with benefits, it never materialized. Recently, she mentioned changing her profile to look for friends with benefits, which made me realize she only wanted me for money. Feeling exploited after spending over $[redacted], I have decided to deactivate my profile for now (profile name: 1026tony). I recently purchased a premium membership, expecting it to be for a month, but was charged $88. Unfortunately, I couldn't log in a day later. Despite numerous attempts, I haven't been able to contact anyone or receive a response to my emails, particularly when trying to reset my password. My name is Nowell Bartlett. If my concerns are not addressed and I am not provided with an explanation for this unauthorized charge, I will contest the payment and escalate the issue to the BBB. I was chatting with someone named Fran, whose username is funka50, and we had a good connection. However, she accidentally blocked me and is now reaching out to reconcile but cannot receive my messages as I am still blocked. Hello, Last week, I encountered difficulty logging into my account. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I remained unsuccessful. Initially, I suspected a breach of the Terms of Service. However, a recent message from an individual on Instagram, claiming a connection through the site, has raised concerns about potential hacking and unauthorized access to my account. The email I am using to contact you, [redacted], is also my login email, and my username is "eclecticartsy." I am seeking clarification on whether my account was deleted or compromised. The lack of response from POF has left me frustrated and worried about someone misrepresenting me online. If my account was deleted, I would understand. However, if it was hacked, I would be deeply upset and prepared to share my experience with influential dating bloggers. The recent contact from an unknown person increases my anxiety regarding potential misuse of my profile for fraudulent activities. I need assistance with a situation involving an individual who identified himself as "Roberto" and gained unauthorized access to my account. This person engaged in conversations with approximately fifteen different women. The photo he provided appeared to be sourced from the internet and included one solo picture and another with a child. He falsely claimed to be a widower with an adult daughter, holding a master's degree, earning an annual income of $[redacted],[redacted] to $[redacted],[redacted], and measuring 6'2" tall. Additionally, he shared an Alabama phone number, [redacted], with some of the women. I have documented the usernames of some of the women he interacted with for reference. The individual supposedly works as a "consultant." After reaching out to warn the women and contacting support multiple times for assistance, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response in a timely manner.

Hello, I am Teri Gottlieb. I signed up for a couple of months on Plenty of Fish. However, I canceled my subscription after that period. I noticed that I have been billed approximately $38.00 via PayPal for over 6 months, despite not using the site during this time. I am requesting a refund for the subscription fees for these months. I believe these unethical billing practices can harm your reputation and potentially lead to a loss of business. I am requesting a refund for the unused portion of my subscription, which was initially intended for 2-3 months. I expect to receive an email confirming the credit to my PayPal account once this matter is resolved. My profile seems to have been deleted without cause. I followed all the Terms of Service, with no inappropriate content. It appears that a user named christianguy, who goes by Daniel from Willingboro, NJ, may have had a role due to personal reasons. I had meaningful conversations with great guys that are now lost. This unfair action may lead them to think I ghosted them. It's frustrating. I invested time in my profile and connecting with wonderful people. I'm considering not using this site again and sharing my experience. If my profile can't be restored, I'll be very disappointed. Perhaps actions should be taken against his profile if he can't handle rejection gracefully.

I am very dissatisfied with this service. I doubt its validity. I receive many notifications about users engaging with me, only to find a list of accounts that no longer exist. I struggle to connect with real users, making the notifications seem irrelevant. The messages I do receive often seem like fishing scams. This issue is much worse than with other services I've used. I unintentionally paid for this subscription, and now I regret it. I would appreciate a refund. Thanks.

I am no longer receiving email notifications from POF in my inbox. Recently, I noticed messages sent from my account to men in Maryland and Virginia, locations far from Wisconsin where I reside, along with their responses. Upon checking my profile, I discovered various unauthorized changes – my location was altered to Madison, Virginia, my "about me" section was different, containing a phone number ([redacted]) and my pictures were missing. To add to the confusion, POF sent me an email stating my pictures were removed for being inappropriate, which they weren't. The messages, not written by me, from someone named Malinda, a 30-year-old, included a picture. I reached out to warn those contacted that my account had been compromised. Currently, I am unable to log in. I am seeking assistance to investigate and resolve this issue promptly. Thank you. Vera F. Hello, I have been a long-time user with an account under the username 66 Guardian. On August 9th, I purchased a 3-month subscription via PayPal (Transaction ID: 0EA[redacted]184L), paying £38.70 for the service. However, I am currently unable to log in on my phone as I appear to have been logged out and do not recall my password. Despite requesting a password reset, I have not received an email to my known address. As a result, I am unable to access the service I am paying for. I would appreciate assistance in either recovering my account using this email or receiving a refund for the remaining balance on my subscription.

Hello POF Help Centre, I've noticed my account has been deleted, and I suspect it's because I reported a guy I was chatting with on POF. We moved our chat to WhatsApp and briefly on Skype. Over the course of two days, he claimed to be from the US Navy under the name Jason Allen, but his story kept changing. He mentioned his Skype account was frozen, asked for money, and when I questioned him, he got upset. I blocked him on WhatsApp and Skype. I believe he may have reported me to you in retaliation. I try to be respectful in my conversations and only report inappropriate behavior. I'm a paid member and feel I shouldn't be penalized for this situation. I shared his WhatsApp number and Skype ID with you to investigate further. Thank you.

I recently upgraded my phone with Sprint from an iPhone to a Galaxy. The sales representative assured me that my phone would be automatically restored to factory settings and sent back to Sprint. However, this was not the case, and I lost a lot of personal information, including credit cards, bank accounts, Facebook, and my POF account. I tried logging in on my new phone only to find that my accounts may have been deleted, possibly due to unauthorized access. While the credit card information is not a major concern, I recently connected with someone special and I fear losing contact with them. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the email address I used, but the username is iAmPorter1987. If there is any way to resolve this, please advise. Creating a new account would be time-consuming and could make it difficult to reconnect with this person.

I would like to cancel my Plenty of Fish account for the username Mackie1945 and email address [redacted] Additionally, I would like to report two individuals who have behaved inappropriately on the platform. The first person, using the username hdjfhkhfjhf (David), with the email address [redacted] and phone number [redacted], falsely promised to help me deactivate my account but instead tampered with my profile without consent. The second person, davidketter, shared phone numbers [redacted] and [redacted] and sent me an unsolicited explicit photo while offering assistance in leaving the site. I believe it's important for your team to intervene in such situations and provide adequate support to users facing issues, rather than referring them to non-responsive phone numbers.

I recently attempted to create a new account to replace my old one from November [redacted]. I made several attempts about four months ago and tried again yesterday. Although I could log in and set up my profile, I encountered technical issues during the picture upload step which resulted in being logged out. Despite receiving a welcome email at my Gmail address, when I tried to log in again, I was told my username or password was incorrect. I made sure to note them down correctly. I also tried to reset my password, but did not receive the email from POF with the reset link, and it was not in my spam folder. This is exactly the same issue I faced four months ago. Hi, I wanted to address an issue I recently encountered on the POF site. I've been a member for quite some time now. I was having a lovely conversation with a man named Dave. We were planning to meet in West Malling, Kent. However, when I tried to reply to his message today, it wouldn't go through. I attempted to resend it but with no luck. After a phone call from Dave, I realized he couldn't see my messages, and I couldn't access my account either. I've never violated any rules, so I'm confused about why this has happened. I've had my account deleted twice without reason. After checking the FAQs, none of the deletion criteria apply to me. I make sure to use accurate information and real photos, unlike others. I'm unsure if someone is using my details without my knowledge. I haven't had any issues with anyone, I'm single, and my profile is appropriate. It's frustrating to have to recreate my profile repeatedly, so I need clarification on why this keeps happening.
