My account was hacked on Sunday morning. Someone transferred money from my bank account to my PlayStation wallet and bought 3 games. I've cancelled the card linked to my PlayStation and changed my password, but now my account is banned. Why am I being penalized for something beyond my control? This occurred 2 days ago. I seek an explanation for this situation.

I recently chatted with another player, and during our conversation, I remained respectful without using any offensive language. When I informed the other player that I was going to block them and they threatened to report me, I clarified that I had not been disrespectful or used any inappropriate language. Despite this, I have been suspended for 7 days. I believe this suspension was automatic because if a person had reviewed the conversation, they would see that my actions did not warrant such a penalty. This morning, around 4 or 5 am, my account was compromised, and unauthorized purchases totaling $[redacted] were made on the PlayStation Store while I was asleep. I haven't used my PlayStation 4 for months, so this activity wasn't from me. Upon noticing, I checked my associated email ([redacted]) and saw multiple messages from PlayStation stating that my password, sign-in ID, and secret question and answer were altered. Please assist me in reversing these fraudulent charges promptly, as I cannot bear this financial burden. Thank you for your help.

My friends Eric and Jaheem helped me activate my account for gamesharing, but Eric's PlayStation got unplugged by his dad. I had to deactivate Jaheem's account earlier this summer, and now I can't do it for Eric, as it can only be done every six months. I purchased Cold War and was excited to play the new Season One update tomorrow on our snow day, but it's locked due to this issue. Although my excitement for the update might seem off-topic, it's the main reason I need to restore my account quickly. Thank you for your assistance. - Matt

I am reaching out about CD Projekt Red and the refund process for Cyberpunk [redacted]. The game is riddled with glitches, bugs, and frequent crashes on the base PS4, despite the newest patch not resolving these issues. I am requesting a refund until the game is fully functional or until I upgrade to a PS5 in the future. I have noticed that others have successfully received refunds following the announcement, and I am hopeful to receive a refund for my purchase as well.

My son received an email stating his account was banned for violating terms, and I need clarification. I am puzzled because he hasn't been active online lately as he sold his PS4 to buy a PS5, which is now under the Christmas tree. I'm not a gamer myself but manage his PlayStation purchases. Today, I received an unexpected email notification about a game purchase supposedly made from Switzerland, while I was at work in the US and did not authorize any transactions. Additionally, I got a verification code request from Switzerland for my account sign-in, hinting at a possible unauthorized login attempt. To make matters worse, there is a charge of $21.26 on my account for order #[redacted][redacted]. I am currently unable to access my account, as it seems the hacker may have made some changes.

While playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with my friends, we were chatting on the microphone when my friend asked about my Jamaican roots. Suddenly, a German player in the lobby began making racist remarks. I tried to confront him by texting "shut up you nazi twat" as no one else stood up to him for his offensive behavior towards other races. Surprisingly, I received a temporary suspension while the German player faced no consequences for his racist comments, which I found unfair and frustrating.

Hello, my name is Kody. I finished work this morning and checked my phone only to discover an email from PSN stating that a game for PS4 was purchased at 12:30 in the morning, which I definitely did not do since I was at work. The person who made the purchase also changed my password and account ID, preventing me from accessing my account. I contacted my bank, and they canceled my card, but unfortunately, I was still charged for the unauthorized purchase. I would appreciate a refund and assistance in regaining access to my account.

I recently got a text alert about potential fraud on my debit card. I contacted my bank right away to report unauthorized charges. Additionally, I noticed my sign-in ID for my email had been changed and someone was attempting to access my account. My network got suspended, and it's because my ex, Michelle L., is upset and claimed she didn't authorize the charges, which she actually did. If you review my payment history, you'll see she has authorized past payments with the same card for the last year or two. She was aware of the payments, but now she's angry. I believe this situation is unfair because I've already reimbursed her, yet my service remains off. Please assist. Thank you.

I'm having trouble activating my account on a new PS4 console. The console prompts me to do it online because I no longer have the old one, but the online method says I can only do it once every 6 months. I explained this to the chat support, and they provided me with a web form to fill out. However, the form requires a serial number from the old console, which I don't have access to. Now, I'm being asked to wait until tomorrow to reconnect with the chat, which seems unfair.

I never received my PlayStation 4. Despite being delivered and signed for in a different city, I filed a claim with FedEx. However, they closed the case, stating they couldn't locate the package. As a result, I now require a refund as the product was never received. I had to buy another one to ensure I had it in time for Christmas, concerned this issue wouldn't be resolved promptly. I recently discovered approximately $[redacted] in unauthorized charges on my credit card from a different PS4 account. I do not typically make purchases for games on the PS4 platform. Upon noticing these charges, I was extremely upset. I have already initiated a dispute with my credit card company. I am reaching out to see if you could assist me in disputing the transactions that occurred in December. I am hopeful that with your help, I can recover some of these charges since they were not authorized by me.

I was suspended for 7 days from December 8, [redacted], to December 15, [redacted]. When I tried to log back in, I found out my account was suspended for another 30 days. I haven't even had a chance to play yet after the initial suspension. I don't understand why I was suspended again. If this issue isn't resolved, I will delete my Sony account and discontinue using PlayStation and Sony products. It's disappointing how PlayStation users are treated, being accused of breaching the code of conduct unjustly.

I am curious why products are only sold online, making it difficult for hardworking individuals to purchase items due to them being sold out by the time we finish work. I have been loyal to Sony for years, but this experience is disappointing. It seems unfair and inaccessible to the working class.

Last night, my PlayStation 4 started showing an error about too many USB connections, even though only one cord was connected, charging my controller. I disconnected it and plugged it into an outlet, but then the controller turned off unexpectedly. Assuming it was out of battery, I left it charging, but it didn't seem to revive. I meticulously inspected the controller, attempting to reset it multiple times using the button on the back, but all my efforts were in vain. Currently, none of my controllers are responsive, leaving me in a frustrating situation.

I am a dedicated PlayStation player who has enjoyed the platform for years, starting from the nostalgic PlayStation One days until now with the recently purchased PlayStation 5. My friend and I share a PlayStation account, but unfortunately, my friend misused the account while I was away, resulting in both of us being locked out. Despite taking steps to restrict their access, I find myself unable to log back in due to a temporary account suspension. As a loyal subscriber to PlayStation Plus, being unable to access my account for a month is frustrating. I hope there might be a way to expedite the process of regaining access, as I am considering switching to Xbox if I have to endure the full 30 days of suspension. It's disheartening to think about paying for services that are inaccessible.

On December 15, [redacted], my PlayStation account notified me of unusual activity originating from Jeddah Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia, while I reside in Iowa. Shortly after, I received an email indicating that my two-step authentication was turned off, followed by another email confirming a sign-in change. I only discovered these alerts after finishing work around 7:00 PM ET. I have been continuously attempting to contact PlayStation for assistance, but each time I call, I receive a message stating that the line is too busy to take my call, regardless of the time of day.
