My wife bought a one-year PlayStation Plus subscription for $44.99 on her PlayStation 4 account during Thanksgiving. Her gamer tag is darkmyst12. However, the money was applied to the PlayStation subscription instead of PlayStation Plus. Is there a way to either receive a refund or transfer the funds to the PlayStation Plus subscription?

I purchased Call of Duty: Cold War, the cross-gen edition, from the PS Store and initially played without any issues for about a month. However, the game has gradually worsened with online gameplay issues such as slow loading, glitches, and freezing. Recently, I am unable to even start the game as it freezes and displays error code CE-[redacted]-0. I have ruled out a connection problem as other online apps work fine. I attempted to resolve the issue by starting the PlayStation in safe mode, rebuilding the database, deleting and reinstalling the game, updating the system, but the problem persists. I hope there is a solution to this frustrating situation.

While playing online, I unexpectedly got disconnected from the game. When I tried to log back in, I realized my account email had been changed, and unauthorized game purchases totaling over $[redacted] were made using my credit card. I am unable to chat with anyone online, and customer service over the phone is currently closed. I urgently need assistance to regain access to my account, seek refunds for the unauthorized purchases, and ensure the security of my account, which I have maintained for more than 7 years. I was at a party with my best friend when suddenly my YouTube and all my other apps stopped working, prompting me to log in to watch. Instead of receiving a one-year suspension, PlayStation issued me a permanent ban. This experience has left me frustrated as I feel PlayStation is losing support due to their strict policies. It seems unreasonable to be permanently suspended for such an issue. The whole situation is bizarre. Dealing with PlayStation can be challenging; they seem out of touch with their users. It's disappointing to see a company act in this manner.

My son purchased a PlayStation, and the previous owner accidentally left their account linked, leading to unauthorized charges on my debit card for the past three months. Sony has forced the person to update their information, but my son cannot contact them. Money continues to be withdrawn from my account despite my son not having access to the account. I recently purchased Cyberpunk [redacted] for the PS4 for $60 and am seeking a full refund for the game. Unfortunately, the game's performance on the PS4 is extremely poor, with unplayable framerates and lag, as well as blurry visuals. In the short time I attempted to play, the game crashed twice. Despite being told by the Playstation Support bot that I am ineligible for a refund due to downloading the game, I disagree. I paid $60 for a game that is unplayable, and I am seeking a refund.

Hello, I wanted to share that unfortunately, on Saturday at 2:58 am, $[redacted] worth of games and other items were purchased on my PS4 account without my authorization. At 3:01 am, my account's email and ID were changed, making it impossible for me to log back in. It seems my account has been hacked, leading to money being stolen. I have disputed the fraudulent transactions and am now trying to regain access to my account. However, I have been unable to reach PlayStation for assistance as they do not answer phone calls, and the chat bot is not functional. At this point, I feel stuck while some unknown person is using my account to play games and spend my money. I would appreciate any help or guidance on how to resolve this issue.

I recently discovered unauthorized PlayStation charges on my credit card made by my nephew. I contacted Capital One and a representative addressed charges dating back to July totaling $[redacted].63 as fraudulent, without my consent. Although she assured me of a reversal, it was not done. I woke up one morning in mid-April to find my account banned for supposed advertisements, but I don't remember posting any. I share the account with my 13-year-old brother and my college cousin, but I doubt either of them is responsible. I've invested a significant amount of money into this account, and it's unfair to lose it all for a mistake I didn't make.

Hi, my device had trouble loading a system check and displayed the message: "Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation." After trying various solutions, I had to opt for an option that wiped out all the data on my computer. Despite being able to restart the computer, all my files were lost. It was like starting anew. Although disappointed, I planned to redownload my games from my account and start afresh. However, logging into my account, I noticed that it seemed like I hadn't bought anything. I had previously purchased various games and would appreciate assistance in retrieving them. Issue: I attempted to upgrade my hard drive on my PlayStation 4 for more storage, but upon rebooting, it keeps going into safe mode asking for a manual update via USB drive. I downloaded the update file onto my USB drive, inserted it into the PS4, but it keeps looping. Although my PC and USB drive are functional (I even managed to load it up once), I cannot proceed past setting the time on the PS4. I have attempted to rebuild the database, initialize the PS4, restart, but the issue persists. I just want to use my PlayStation again and am seeking guidance on resolving this matter.

On November 18, my account was compromised, and someone made unauthorized charges totaling $[redacted].46 for games, leading to an overdraft. I've been discussing this issue with my bank for a month, but they refuse to refund me because of previous PSN purchases. I'm certain I did not make these charges and am attempting to reach out to PlayStation for assistance. The hacker altered my passwords and made me delete my account (UserID Nerd_Love89), leaving me without access to the games I had purchased legitimately.

I am unable to access my account due to the two-step verification. The phone number linked to my account is no longer available, and I do not have access to any device or backup codes. Unfortunately, the phone connected to the account broke, and I am now using a different PlayStation. There is a substantial amount of money invested in that account, and I would greatly appreciate assistance in recovering it.

My system crashed while I was doing the most recent update 8.01. I followed all your recommended fixes on your website. First, I tried to redownload the update online. I have been operating the system from safe mode throughout this ordeal. Next, I attempted the USB update, which was unsuccessful. Subsequently, I had to wipe my system, which was disappointing. After wiping, everything started working again. As I was setting it up and downloading a game from my library, the system shut off on its own when it was 3/4 of the way through. When I tried to restart, it displayed a message like "PS4 cannot be started normally. Please update software."

I don't have any online friends to send coins to, so I'm confused about why this happened.
