If you are looking for a refund you should call into the company as the best option is to talk with a representative about the charges. If it is fraud you should call in to cancel your card and request a refund.
The issue in GetHuman-jazzello's own words
I got a membership with planet fitness on July **th ****, the last day to sign up for $*, and it said as I was signing up that my next billing statement would be August **th ****. I got notification of the $*.** charge on July **th, and then on July **th I was charged $**.**. I went to a close planet fitness that wasn’t my home hub, and they told me that I was correct and that I shouldn’t have been charged until August **th, but because they were not my home hub they couldn’t do anything. I went to my home hub and they said that I was charged for the **th of July and that was right, and that the $* sign up was false advertisement and we get charged for both. I either need my money back for the mistake, or I need to end my membership because I am highly unsatisfied by this and the fact that I’m being told two different things.
