I am Cindy and today I was at the Edwardsville PF signing up my son for the TSC. I observed the Club Manager and another manager, Taylor, during the process. I found Taylor's attire inappropriate and the Club Manager's discussion about her incarcerated boyfriend and suspicions about his sexuality uncomfortable. Taylor mentioning excessive drinking in St. Louis in front of my 13-year-old son was upsetting. I am considering sharing this experience on Facebook if not addressed properly. I want them to acknowledge and address this matter seriously, not just with a generic apology. This situation has left me very frustrated.

I've been a member at Planet Fitness for about a month and have been enjoying my membership. However, I've encountered a challenging situation with the staff recently. I've developed a mutual connection with the manager, and we've started seeing each other. While everything between us is great, the assistant manager seems to have taken an intense interest in me since realizing my preference for the manager. This shift resulted in a negative environment for me at the gym. The assistant manager has been overly focused on me, creating discomfort and impacting the welcoming atmosphere I once appreciated as a member. Despite maintaining professionalism and not displaying any excessive affection, I find myself constantly targeted and criticized by her, affecting my gym experience. I believe this situation goes against the inclusive and respectful values that Planet Fitness promotes, and I hope it can be resolved to ensure a comfortable environment for all members.

I am a 56-year-old retiree who recently tried to apply for a job at Lancaster PF. Despite having considerable experience, I felt disappointed by my experience there. I submitted my resume in April [redacted] and was assured multiple times that it reached the correct person. However, when I spoke to manager Lily in May, she did not have my resume, so I had to resubmit it. I was then hastily interviewed by an inexperienced staff member and informed that there were no current openings, despite indications otherwise. I was even discouraged from applying at another location. This experience left me feeling unappreciated and uncertain about their hiring practices. I hope this feedback is addressed so others do not encounter similar treatment.

Last month, I visited the store to cancel my contract by June 15th. Today, the assistant store manager, Emily, said I should have canceled by the 10th. I didn't recall the name of the person I spoke to initially, but if I had been informed of the June 10th deadline, I would have complied. Emily commented on my gym attendance, which was irrelevant. When I requested to speak to the store manager, Emily claimed the manager would be in on Monday. I then inquired about contacting corporate but was met with unhelpful responses. Despite feeling mistreated, I obtained Emily's details before leaving. I called another location and confirmed my cancellation, though my final payment date remained as June 17th, not what I aimed to avoid.

A staff member recently asked me to store my backpack in a locker while I was at the gym, which I found unusual since I've been a patron for years without any issues. I prefer to keep my emergency medicine and workout gear in my bag for easy access, rather than scattered around me. I was informed it's a safety concern, but I've never seen anyone trip over it whereas other gym-goers have equipment spread out around them. Despite the staff citing liability reasons, I feel inconvenienced as accessing my medicine in case of an emergency is now more difficult. Additionally, I have concerns about the security of the lockers after experiencing theft in the past. I urge the gym to reconsider this policy for the sake of safety and member comfort.

I submitted my online application with my credit card information. The instructions did not mention using a checking or savings account number. If it did, I would not have proceeded, as I prefer the flexibility of making lower payments with my credit card due to my multiple monthly expenses. After contacting the location linked to my account, I requested to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, I was informed that it was too early at 8:40 a.m., and there was no supervisor available, asking me to call back later. Given that Planet Fitness operates 24/7, I expected to have the opportunity to discuss my payment plan with a manager at any time.

I would like to express my gratitude to the new district manager, Katelyn, at the West Broad St. location in Columbus, Ohio, who oversees the Indianola store.
During my time at Indianola, I encountered unkind behavior from Brie and Nick. I had previously submitted a complaint on another platform, but I want to thank Katelyn for treating me with respect and listening to my concerns.
Katelyn informed me that she attempted to address the situation with Nick and Brie by providing them with a video on customer interaction. However, they decided to resign instead, indicating a reluctance to receive feedback. Despite my recent car accident affecting my emotions, Nick's behavior deeply upset me. Katelyn and I discussed this incident, and I apologized for my reaction towards Nick.
I shared with Katelyn that after gaining weight due to a torn meniscus, I joined PF to regain my fitness post-accident. Although my physical injuries have healed, the emotional impact remains.
In conclusion, Brie's reaction to me speaking with David and her comments about my footwear made me realize that this environment may not be suitable for me. I appreciate Katelyn for addressing the situation and providing closure.
Thank you, and best wishes.
Farewell,
G.S.

This morning, I took my two granddaughters, both 8 years old, to the gym with me. Despite being a long-time Black Club member, I was told about the policy against kids under 8. I had them wait outside for 30 minutes while I worked out. While on the treadmill, Ron approached me, claiming my membership was invalid because I couldn’t have been born in [redacted]. Embarrassed, I followed him to the desk where he accused me of having a duplicate membership in my daughter's name. Ron's behavior felt discriminatory, and I felt humiliated. When I spoke to the manager, Adam, he only apologized for upsetting me and offered free months as compensation. Feeling profiled and assuming I just wanted freebies, I left feeling degraded. Despite enjoying the services in other locations, this experience was unacceptable.

I want to share my recent experience at the Planet Fitness branch in Indianola, Columbus, Ohio. As an Uber driver for over two years with a great track record, I was shocked by the behavior of two employees, Nick and Brie. Despite my effort to address the situation respectfully, they were dismissive and rude. This lack of customer care is disappointing as I have always valued customer service in my own work. Sadly, it seems that this establishment prioritizes profit over genuine care for its clients. Nick's demanding approach and Brie's disrespectful attitude towards me were unacceptable. The lack of apology or acknowledgment of their behavior is concerning. This kind of service is not acceptable, especially when dealing with someone who has recently been involved in a car accident. I expressed my concerns to the management, but they seemed to side with the staff rather than addressing the issue. It is clear that this branch does not value its customers, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame to encounter such power-hungry and disrespectful individuals in a customer service setting. Goodbye, Planet Fitness on Indianola.

Subject: Urgent Attention Needed Regarding Hazardous Toilet Paper Holders
I had a concerning experience on June 24, [redacted], at 08:10 while using the men's restroom at Planet Fitness in Plattekloof. The stainless steel toilet paper holder in one of the cubicles had a sharp, jagged edge that cut my finger as I tried to retrieve toilet paper. Shockingly, the safety rim that should protect users has been removed, posing a serious danger and disregarding Health & Safety regulations.
Upon reporting the incident at the reception, there was no first aid available, and my wound later showed signs of infection. Despite alerting the Assistant Manager, Ayrton, and the Maintenance department, the hazardous holders remain unchanged. I have photographic evidence of the unsafe condition.
I kindly request immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure a thorough inspection. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
P J Gibbons

As a retired business owner who has been a member of a fitness club for over 25 years, I was eager to check out the new Planet Fitness in Eugene, Oregon. Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly by a friendly young woman who explained the fees and directed me to the men's locker room. After my workout, when I requested the Wi-Fi password from another staff member named Hannah, she informed me there was a $20 visitor fee. Despite my interest in potentially joining the club, she insisted on the set fee without considering alternatives or accommodating my trial visit. Disappointed by the lack of flexibility and customer service, I left feeling undervalued as a prospective member. My friends and I appreciate good customer service and value employees who can adapt to individual situations appropriately. This experience will be shared with our group before our upcoming event.

To whom it may concern, I need to address my complaint regarding an incident at the branch located at [redacted] W 49 St in Hialeah. I discovered that similar issues have occurred there. I used to be a member of this club and would exercise at 3 am. Unfortunately, there seems to be an individual, possibly a friend of the manager, John, causing problems for me. It appears that this person complained about me to John, who then unfairly put restrictions on my account. When I tried to enter the club at 3 am, I was denied access as my membership had been canceled by John. When I spoke to John over the phone, he was very rude and unhelpful. This complaint originated from a situation where I was allowed in at 3 am, only to be denied access the next day with a photo of me exercising taken by the manager's friend. It seems that being on good terms with John is necessary to maintain membership, and I would like to resolve this issue and regain access to the club.

On my second day of membership, I experienced an uncomfortable situation at the tanning salon. While I understand that providing proof of eyewear is necessary, it was embarrassing to have to search through my purse in front of others. The employee, Diana, was rude and unprofessional, making me feel upset and humiliated. Having tanned since a young age, I have never encountered such disrespect. I hope the manager, Leo, addresses this issue with Diana to ensure better privacy practices in the future. My personal belongings should be respected, and customers should not be made to feel anxious by such confrontations.

After signing up for a Planet Fitness membership in Mt. Pleasant, MI, I was assured by a staff member that I could cancel at any time without any fees. Unfortunately, when I tried to cancel my membership in May due to job loss and relocation, I was informed that I couldn't do so as I hadn't been a member for long enough. The staff member had specifically mentioned I could cancel before the annual fee in July. Despite my attempts to cancel each month leading up to July, I was met with resistance. I also tried to transfer my membership to my new location but was told I needed to wait. This situation contradicts the stress-free cancellation policy I was promised. I have ended up paying for two months and an annual fee without even using the gym for the past two months due to the move.

Good morning, I am seeking an update on my complaint. Previously, I used Google Translate for Spanish to English, which may have caused confusion. I want to address an incident at my Planet Fitness branch where I was denied entry at 3 am, my usual workout time. The front desk mentioned my membership was canceled by the manager, John. John allegedly shared a picture of me without consent, leading me to question the professionalism of the club. I called John seeking clarification, but his response was dismissive and unhelpful. I was unaware of any complaints before this incident. I hope to regain my membership and expect accountability for John's actions, which have tainted my opinion and that of my friends towards the club.

I wanted to share my positive experience at the Planet Fitness in Ithaca, New York, particularly acknowledging the excellent work of Charles, the new manager, and Jack at the front desk. The facility has greatly improved under their management over the past 10 years. It would be wonderful if there was a way to leave positive feedback on the website for outstanding staff like them. Thank you.

I frequent the Planet Fitness in Albuquerque, NM located on Eubank and Constitution. The air conditioning has been out of order, making the gym extremely hot. Yesterday, 7/5/19, I inquired with an employee who acknowledged the issue but was unsure when it would be resolved, just saying "Sorry." Feeling like I might pass out, I left. Today, 7/6/19, I experienced the same overheating problem after only 30 minutes of exercise. This situation is unacceptable and poses a health risk. It's evident others are affected too. I request a credit for the inconvenience and urge a prompt repair of the AC to resume regular gym usage without discomfort. There are no warning signs or employee alerts upon entering the facility.

I made my monthly payment last month, but now, two weeks later, I have been told that it is not showing in their records. They are asking for me to make the payment again. Despite discussing this with various employees at the club, even the manager, who is not very customer-oriented, told me I needed to make the payment again. The issue here is not the amount of money but rather the approach to resolving the situation. I believe it was an error made by the staff at the front desk, and I expect them to investigate and rectify it. It is frustrating that the company has surveillance cameras inside the club but doesn't seem to utilize them in situations like mine. I made the payment on 6/26/19, at around 7:30 pm. Please investigate this matter promptly and provide me with a resolution.

I relocated from Anchorage, Alaska to Gardner, Kansas in May [redacted]. The closest gym is 11 miles from my new home. Due to the long commute to work that is twice the distance to the nearest gym, my wife and I find it challenging to incorporate workouts. We enjoy Planet Fitness and hope that in the future, when we live closer to the gym, we can rejoin and continue with our memberships.

Hello, my name is DaShay Martin. I have been attempting to contact Planet Fitness, first by phone and now via email, regarding an issue with my membership not being initiated. Since November, I have noticed monthly charges from Planet Fitness coming out of my bank account regularly. Initially, I assumed it was a recurring bill that my wife had set up, but after checking my bank statement, I discovered it wasn't her. Surprisingly, I have not visited any Planet Fitness location nor obtained a membership card, yet the charges persist. You can reach me via email at [redacted] or by calling me at [redacted]. Alternatively, my wife can be contacted at [redacted]. I want to clarify that I am not accusing anyone, but I am concerned about unauthorized charges on my card. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
