I have been repeatedly receiving the following email: Hello [redacted], Your Paypal account has been temporarily restricted. You were recently asked to take an action on your account and it looks like we didn't receive a requested response. We have found suspicious activity on the credit card linked to your Paypal account. You must confirm your identity to confirm that you are the owner of the credit card. To maintain account security, please provide documents confirming your identity. We've also imposed temporary limits on certain features on your Paypal account. Log in to your Paypal account and perform the required steps.

I received an email thanking me for joining PayPal, but I didn't create a new account. I'm concerned if this is a scam. The contact number provided was +1[redacted], and the address listed in the email is [redacted] Road, Shreveport, Louisiana [redacted]. I attempted to call the number last night without success, but they reached out to me this morning explaining that an individual from Ohio set up an account and made a purchase involving BTC. They referenced an invoice ID JHFS-RTGF-B/HG1G for Norton security for 3 years at $[redacted].99. Can someone confirm if this email is legitimate or an attempt to obtain personal information?

In the past couple of months, I've noticed unauthorized charges of $95 and some change on my account for something called gadgets. Someone has been using my card without my permission. I am unable to reach PayPal for assistance as they don't offer live customer support. Despite knowing my password, I'm unable to access my account as it keeps prompting me to verify with a phone number I no longer have. My correct phone number is [redacted]. I am concerned about the ongoing deductions from my account and would like to have the situation resolved promptly.

I am looking to merge my personal account and business account into one. I'd like to have a single email, [redacted], for both. Currently, my personal account is under [redacted] Due to a recent Google update, I now have two PayPal accounts. I would like to have my card associated with the [redacted] email. However, I am unable to delete my personal information, including the card number and old email, to merge it with the new email. Last week, I updated my phone number, triggering a security protocol that halted my ability to make online purchases using various computer browsers. After verifying my identity over the phone, I managed to make a $70 USD worth of purchases, only to encounter the same issue moments later. Despite confirming my phone number change and recent transactions, Paypal could not provide a reason for the ongoing restrictions on my account, asking me to wait 48 hours repeatedly. This has persistently prevented me from accessing my account, despite complying with all security measures each time I contact them. Even after waiting over a week without any updates, I remain locked out without a satisfactory explanation. I am considering sharing screenshots and call records to highlight the extended duration of being unable to access my account without valid reasons provided by Paypal.

After clearly providing evidence following the seller's return policy and receiving approval for the return along with an RMA#, the item was successfully returned three months ago with proof of delivery. Despite this, the seller has not issued the refund as promised. After disputing the case, I escalated the matter to the PayPal Billing Error Dispute Documentation in Omaha, NE, highlighting the entire communication thread with the seller from the approved return to the delivery proof provided. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from PayPal yet, which is frustrating given the undeniable proof presented. I urge PayPal to take action promptly and process the refund. Good morning, I wanted to log into my account yesterday, but I couldn't remember my password. I clicked on "recover password" via email. I thought I wasn't receiving the recovery codes because I only checked "spam" and "inbox" but didn't check "trash," where I found them. By the time I realized, I had exceeded the attempts to recover my password via email, which I do have. Regarding the phone number, it was stolen a year ago, so I no longer have that number. I still have access to my email; I just didn't realize where the recovery codes were being sent. Can you assist me with this issue?

Hello, I recently received an email from PayPal regarding my inactive account. I have updated my phone number, but my PayPal account still reflects the old number, preventing me from logging in. I am attempting to re-establish my account, [redacted] However, I am having trouble because I need to create a new password and update my phone number from [redacted] to [redacted]. Hello, I recently purchased a Blu-ray optical drive for the PS3 Slim on eBay. Unfortunately, the item did not work properly, so I returned it to the seller. I opened a return on eBay, but the seller mentioned a contract with PayPal, so I opened an item not as described claim on PayPal. Despite this, PayPal ruled in favor of the seller. I am disappointed as I returned the faulty item and have not received a refund yet. I hope for a fair resolution as I spent €56.48 on the non-functioning item. I am having trouble using my Discover card on PayPal. I attempted to make a payment online for a document, but it was declined twice. I haven't changed my password, which was "mywallet$," but I couldn't access my account with it. Could you please check if this issue is related to PayPal or Discover card? I recently made a purchase and unfortunately, the product I received was terrible. I have been trying to get the merchant to redo it as they acknowledged the flaw, but they seem to be avoiding the issue and delaying the process. Despite specifying on the invoice that they should contact me if there are any design issues with the glass, they proceeded with the engraving without consulting me, resulting in a poor outcome. Although they assured me of a replacement, it has yet to arrive. The customer service representative I spoke to keeps making empty promises and does not follow through.

I attempted to log into my Paypal account three times, but was denied access. I am confident that I used the correct password, which I updated on 11/30/[redacted]. When I tried to verify my email address, I received a message stating that there is no account linked to that email. This is puzzling since Paypal regularly contacts me through the email address I provided. I am also unsure why I am being prompted about translating information to or from Turkish.

I split my time between the USA and Costa Rica. I use Paypal to make purchases from both locations. When trying to log in recently, it asked to confirm my identity via text to my cell phone. I switched from a US number to a Costa Rican one to save on costs, and my US contacts now reach me through WhatsApp. I attempted to receive confirmation via email, but that option was not accepted. The only way to confirm my identity was through the old cell phone number that is no longer active.

I need assistance, I have been attempting to reach out to Paypal for over four days now to request support, but I have not received any response. Every time I try to change my password and request the authorization code to be sent to my WhatsApp number, nothing happens. It is crucial for me to access the funds in my account. I placed an order for US Forever stamps from Hong Kong Manfan Trading Limited on November 21st using PayPal with a Mastercard. The purchase was $71.82 for 2 packs of [redacted] stamps. Initially unaware that the order was from China, I waited longer for delivery. I received an official-looking receipt from PayPal.com.
