The issue in GetHuman-markhame's own words
Paypal charged the wrong credit card on file for a payment being sent to a family member. It came out of our checking account instead of off of our credit card, which caused multiple overdraft fees as it was never authorized to come out of that account. I have called ** or more times and beeb placed on hold for extended wait times and then disconnected. I have opted to be called back and hold my place in line and was not contacted. The card charged was a visa, it was supposed to be the mastercard on file. The amount was $***, on ********. Please return the amount to my card, so my credit union can clear up the issues on my account that this caused. I will be happy to resubmit it with the other card. I am in deaperate need of this being resolved immediately, as it is Christmas time and we have bills and arrangements already made for the money on the account with the visa that is now in the negative and cannot be used. Please let me know what steps I need to take to have this occur. I have used paypal a long time and never had this kind of issue, so I am am confident it will be handled in a timely manner. Also, I would recommend shecking into working out the kinks in customer service via phone as that has been a huge obstacle in reaching you. Thank you! Emily Parish Markham
