I used to have Optimum and I had a flood in my house and a lot of repair had to be done. Eventually, I had to cancel the service which I was paying for didn't use. Later, I signed on to a new account with a fixed rate for life, about $*** for * boxes, DVR, second level channels, etc. The bill sent to me was way above that amount--over $***. Also, the second box is in my house but was not set up in the right location* I have two boxes sitting next to each other. It was supposed to be done when we had a storm. I was speaking with the supervisor from NJ (I am in Brooklyn) and he told me to wait until after the storm. Now he never answers my phone or text messages. His name is Malcolm and his phone is ***-***-****. I need this to be resolved or I will cancel service once again. I want to speak to someone who has been there a while and knows what he is doing.
