About * months ago roundabout my cable was turned off because of late payment. I had a technician come and pick up the equipment. To my surprise, I found out that I was reported to a collection agency. There was was a dispute of ** dollars, but I did pay $***.** and the agency was suppose to take care of the rest. I decided to call Cablevision and I spoke to a senior supervisor and was told that the $** needed to be paid because it's a service charge. Since I do need the service I called today to check to make sure that it still said $** so that I can pay it during the week . I was shocked to hear that there is a $***.** that supposedly is owned and want to know if that's true or not? If there is a charge how is that possible when I haven't had cable in a couple of months?
