Subject: Assistance Needed with Offer Up Transaction Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding a recent transaction on Offer Up. I sold a purse to a buyer named Kathie Belcher (Miller), and despite her returning the purse due to a perfume smell, another person named Alberto purchased it. Due to the return process with Kathie Belcher (Miller, I missed the 3-day shipping deadline to Alberto. After receiving the purse back, I promptly sent it to Alberto. Subsequently, I was notified of the cancellation by Offer Up after the shipment was done but was assured that I would still be paid if the package was mailed. I have proof of shipping to Alberto with a pending deposit of $38.70 for weeks now. I rely on this income, being on SSDI, and need this matter resolved. I have contacted support previously and was informed of a claim from the first buyer, but I believe this should not affect the second buyer, Alberto, who received the item. I am unable to send or receive messages, post offers, receive notifications, or view past and current transactions on the platform. All the content I've created and the purchases I've made seem to have vanished. Despite the interface appearing normal, other users have confirmed that my messages aren't going through. I've always relied on these messages to communicate with sellers regarding any issues or future transactions. Without this ability, my business activities have come to a halt. I'm uncertain if my account has been deactivated due to violating guidelines. It's crucial that I understand any reasons for such actions. This situation is causing me to miss out on significant trade opportunities that are essential for my financial well-being. I've followed all the suggested troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the app and ensuring there are no duplicate accounts without success. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I met with a lady at Starbucks on December 24th. We agreed on a price and payment in cash. She asked to check the bag, but I didn't have the receipt. She was happy with the bag and paid me. Later, she messaged me saying the bag might not be authentic based on someone else's opinion. I refused to return the money as she had inspected it before buying. When she contacted me from another account threatening me, I blocked her as well. What should I do next? I am concerned about the safety of my information on OfferUp.

I recently sold an item on OfferUp, and the buyer requested a refund. I was surprised when OfferUp issued the refund to the buyer before I even received the item back. The item was returned to me in a dirty and gross condition. I am concerned about the handling of this situation as I believe once a buyer uses an item, it should be considered theirs. Hello, I need assistance with a transaction on the OfferUp app. I purchased an iPhone X Pro from a seller who claimed it was new, stating he bought it a week ago. I received a notification from OfferUp that my account has been removed due to violations of their community guidelines. I am seeking clarification on the specific violations I have allegedly committed. In particular, I am addressing the issue related to a bike I posted on OfferUp. I have made every effort to resolve the situation, and I am transparent about my actions. I have attempted to communicate with the individual claiming ownership of the bike and requested the serial number to verify its ownership. If indeed the bike belongs to him, I am willing to return it. I purchased the bike from someone and was unaware if it was stolen. I am trying to rectify this situation in good faith. Given my honesty and openness in this matter, I am surprised at the account removal. I believe I have not acted improperly, so I am eager to understand the reasons behind this decision.

I arranged to purchase some headphones from a seller on OfferUp. Despite being late, he refused to give me a discount. After paying, I threatened to leave a negative review. He tried to grab the headphones back and threw the money at me. I held onto the headphones, and he left, warning me about being blocked. Now, my account is blocked without any warning or explanation. I bought a pair of size 9 Gucci shoes only to realize they are fake. As per OfferUp's policy, counterfeit items should not be sold as authentic. I paid $[redacted] plus shipping and tax totaling $[redacted].66. The shoes are poorly made compared to authentic Gucci products, and even the box seems to be fake. I unknowingly purchased counterfeit Gucci shoes from OfferUp. I was charged $[redacted].66 for a pair of shoes that are clearly not authentic Gucci items. According to OfferUp's policy, sellers are not allowed to pass off fake items as real ones. The shoes I received look cheaply made in comparison to genuine Gucci shoes, and the packaging was also not authentic. I am requesting a refund to get my money back for this purchase.

I previously violated OfferUp's posting policy by mistakenly listing a prescription drug, resulting in my account being permanently banned. I acknowledge my error and understand the consequences of not following the guidelines. After discovering my mistake, I voluntarily removed the post within an hour of posting it. I am curious if OfferUp typically reports such incidents to law enforcement agencies. I am also concerned about the possibility of facing legal charges in this matter.

I made a payment for an item on Thursday, 12/26/[redacted]. The seller informed me on the following Saturday, 12/28/[redacted], that due to work commitments, he would ship the item on Monday. I contacted the seller on Monday afternoon, 12/30/[redacted], to inquire if the item was shipped, to which he responded that he was unable to ship it. He mentioned it's an Apple Watch. I requested him to cancel the shipment and haven't received a reply. I am in urgent need of a refund to purchase the promised Christmas present.

I recently wanted to purchase a scanner and found one on OfferUp. A man by the name of Robert from Sun City, AZ had what I wanted. While making the payment, I accidentally gave $10 more than required. I asked the seller, Robert, if he could reimburse me the $10, and he agreed. However, it has been a week and a half, and I have not received the refund. When I contacted him to follow up, he became angry and started insulting me. I'm having an issue with my order. It was supposed to be canceled if not shipped within three days. I placed the order on December 20th, and it wasn't shipped within that timeframe. The transaction was canceled in my bank account, and the funds were returned. However, a package was sent to a friend after the cancellation. This has caused issues with my bank account as I used the refunded money for other purchases. Now, I have to retract the product from my friend due to the unexpected charges. The situation has created confusion and I can't move forward with my bank until this is resolved.

I recently sold a lamp on OfferUp and shipped it to the buyer. However, in the middle of the shipment, OfferUp informed me that the order was canceled due to non-shipment, even though the customer received the lamp. I have not received my payment for the transaction. I have tried contacting OfferUp, but have been unable to reach them to address my issue. This has happened before, and last time OfferUp told me to resolve it with the buyer, which I find frustrating. It is OfferUp's responsibility to ensure I get paid after fulfilling my part of the transaction, especially since they take a percentage of the sale. I hope to resolve this matter promptly as it is disappointing that OfferUp seems unresponsive to my concerns.

Hello, I am a user of OfferUp like many others, using it to sell and buy items. Recently, I was contacted by someone named Terry David regarding my prom dress. We agreed on a payment plan, but then he sent me a check for more than the dress's value and asked for $[redacted] back. Despite my concerns, I sent the money. However, he started ignoring my messages and eventually said he wasn't interested in the dress and requested the money back via Google Play. I complied, but insisted on keeping the $[redacted] deposit as per our initial agreement. Later, he contacted me under a different name, Frendo, wanting the dress. Naively, I fell for it and ended up sending $[redacted] more through various gift cards after being misled about Cash App. I realized it was a scam when I checked my accounts and found no payment. I am filing a police report today and seeking assistance from OfferUp in this matter.
